Academic Flexibility: I have not had to worry about transferring any credits yet. So I do not know how easy or difficult that process is.

Overall Experience: I've had wonderful experiences with all of my professors. The class sizes are very small so you get the connection and help that you need in classroom.

Online Courses: I have not taken an online course here, because it is way more expensive than something I can take back home and pay a lot less for.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office works so hard to try and get you the most amount of money they can. However, tuition for the 2015-2016 school year has increased tremendously. The total payment for an on campus student is 38,000 dollars. (This does not include books) This is a very large tuition increase and many of us are struggling with money. (Just like everyone else in the world is.) For my specific major and the faculty I am around, I feel like it is worth it. I would like to say that I believe YHC is very generous with their scholarships and WILL TRY AND HELP YOU.

Academic Experience: I am currently a Music Education Major. When you decide you want to be involved in this major, you need to make sure it is truly what you want to do as a career. This major is in no way easy or a breeze through college. My major is quite possibly the busiest major. You have many hours of observation and your music classes will challenge you. With this being said, every single one of the music faculty professors will go above and beyond their duties to help you. You are their top priority and they will be here for you every step of the way. We currently to not have necessarily the best music facilities, but a new building is being built just for us. Almost all of the music faculty have work study students that work for them, so there are opportunities for you to work for someone in the department.

Campus Resources: In this 2014-2015 school year we have gotten a new Student Center built on our campus. It includes a dining hall, Chic-fil-a, Starbucks and a 3 story library all in the same building. We have a very well equipped gym with a track around it and also a basketball court. And of course work out machinery.

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online courses with Young Harris

Academic Flexibility: I had to go back to the advisor when I first enrolled because not all of my transfer credits were showing as promissed. I had to go to several different people before I was able directed to the correct person to be approved for an internship. My advisor created a scheduling conflict my first semester, placing me in an evening class when I later found out that evening classes aren't allowed for my major.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The college is overall pretty expensive but the school is very good in my opinion. The financial aid process went very smoothly for me.

Tuition & Financial Aid: For a small college it's quite pricey. I'm lucky enough to have scholarships to help me pay some of my fees already but it's still pretty expensive.

YHC is a vibrant and unique but small community. The faculty and staff work together to help the students the best that they can. Teachers look out for the students and know them by name, and they ususally go the extra mile. Academic advisers also help students out and take the time to really find the best courses. The teachers and students feel like a family.

The student body itself is mostly friendly and positive. Many of them are excellent students, and the marjority of them are involved in extracurriculars, such as sororities and fraternities, clubs, religious life, and other organizations. These organizations host events like dances, casino night, live concerts, and many more. The events make the atmosphere more interesting and fun. Indviduals meet others with similar and different viewpoints and often find friends in both. Students often find life-long friends. Together, the teachers and students make the school feel like home.
