4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have had 2 crappy professors, but the others have been great! They are quick with feedback and always willing to talk.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The SSS Trio program was a huge benefit to me. I am not the best at math, so I utilize study sessions weekly.

2 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm very disappointed because I was under the impression that I was entering an education that was fair and transparent. I was wrong.

Academic Experience: The helicopter program is not an education. It's a rat race, and they'll sit there watching you jump through hoops. The director of academics, JJ Johnson, does not care about you, and if you have a problem, it's not his problem.

2 College Junior

Academic Experience: 1. Admissions is not transparent- When I was interested in coming to the School, the student services rep rarely returned my calls. When I showed up, I was not prepared for what happened next.

2. They are out of Compliance with the Department of Veterans Affairs because the owner of the flight school was enrolling all veterans mostly and was turning a sick profit from it.

3. The Aviation program is expensive, super rushed and your flight instructors aren't there to help. You go to ground school, study your ass off on top of a full college class load, and if you don't perform the way they want you to, they let you drop. They're not interested in helping you, because they're training future competition. That's why the fail rate is 60%

4. The Financial Aid Department is terrible. The Director is an amazing person, and she will do anything it takes to help you, but don't expect that form anyone else in that department. They're drones and they don't care about you. If you cant pay, or if you have a problem, it's not their problem, and the reply you receive will be cold and sterile.

5. Veterans- What they don't tell you is that you don't file your benefits request until orientation, which means your payments will be a month behind, which means you'll need to apply for FA, which will be last minute. Also, they have a deadline for federal aid but what they don't tell you is, that its not a deadline that's enforced by ANY federal law. It's an institutional dead line.

This college is a rip off. They'll take you for all the G.I Bill they can get their hands on, and leave you out in the cold to die.
