Academic Flexibility: The experience has been okay. The teachers are great if you can get somewhat of a relationship with them, but the classes online don't really allow that. The hybrid classes are great. I'd much rather have a professor teaching me, instead of the book. It's easier to learn that way.

Online Courses: I don't enjoy online classes because it's pretty much teaching yourself a new subject and keeping up with dates. The workload is manageable. The relationship with the professor isn't really there, and in online classes, there usually isn't much peer-to-peer interaction.

Career Services: There aren't really any post-grad services for us because it is not a four-year university. We usually transfer to a university, so the career center is just like going to a guidance counselor to talk about what you would like to do.

Overall Experience: The courses are okay. They will keep you busy, but it seems like we are only taking them because we have to in order to get past them. The professors are great and I have loved each.

Overall Experience: It is a great school for nursing, but that's not what I am going for, so I really don't see a degree from here as extra special, I could get it anywhere. There are lots of internships available though. The employees are all very friendly and they are all very concerned about each student, making the learning experience person.

Overall Experience: It seems like every professor I've had genuinely cares about you and your grades, something I look to for encouragement. It's one of my favorite things about it!

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: So far, all the classes and workload have been very manageable. With the ability to work ahead, I can easily get well ahead of my due dates.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: Haven't graduated yet, so I don't see how I can possibly rate this.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Again, haven't been here long enough to fully evaluate it.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Only just begun classes, so I can't rate it any higher than that, but can't rate it any lower.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: They offered a few different times for classes so that I would be able to work and go to school.

3 College Senior

Career Services: They are good and help people continue what they want to be an expert in.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Overall I have had a great time here.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I value a degree from this school because it will further my education and it has allowed me to mind out exactly what type of degree I want.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: What I am learning here is exactly what I want to learn and how I want to learn it. I enjoy learning new things and this place teachers me the way I want to be taught.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: It's a good school. The tuition is set at a reasonable price and the professors are supportive.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: If I had to do it over again I would have chosen not to come here again. I would have went straight to Radford University instead. They don't offer the courses that I need for my major and they don't have a clue what they are talking about. I've been told 3 different things about being able to graduate and get my Asssociates Degree and now I am having to finish the classes at Radford instead of going straight into my program.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Class sizes are nice because they aren't very big. There's more student/teacher interaction.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: In order to do online courses you have to be extremely self motivated and I was not. I learned that online courses were not for me. The work load was reasonable, but it took a long time to actually see my grades in the last.

3 College Senior

Student Body: Students at my school aren't very friendly. There very immature and irresponsible. They don't like to get involved with people outside of their cliques. I honestly feel like I am still in high school here.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: They have a scholarship here called Wythe/Bland Scholarship that they use to pay for people who live in those counties. I went to school at Fort Chiswell High School my entire high school and middle school career and graduated from Fort Chiswell, but because I lived 200 feet over the county line I couldn't receive the scholarship. That was a set back. I received financial aid and scholarships to help for tuition, but still had to pay quite a bit of money that I didn't have for books.

Career Services: They aren't very good at all. You cannot get any help here or find any jobs.
