Academic Experience: This is not a specific major because all students take the same courses, except for the electives. This is good because everyone has the same workload. The dorms are different - you can request cabins or larger dorms (for males) or different dorms (for females.) After second year, you can apply for an internship at the school, or cross cultural internship oversees for two years. As an alumni, you are eligible to attend the Israel tour, which takes place every spring as well.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Monotonous, yet rigorous. College, yet restrictive.

Career Services: Their emphasis is on transferring to another school after completing their program. In that respect they don't offer much help in settling into a career, but it does provide some highly unique opportunities.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: The workload is a lot by comparison to an average college. However, this is offset by the variety and well regulated nature of it. Opportunites to have continued relationship with the school as a post-graduate abound-- for example I was hired out for the summer.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: You learn about the Bible and the manner they do-so is fantastic preparation for those who would consider post-graduate and seminary degrees.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: Our student body is amazing.

Overall Experience: There is a banner over the admissions office that says, "The best advertisement is a changed life." and this statement could not be any truer of the school. I can't say enough how much God used this place to change my life and the lives of the many friends I have made here. This place is a year out of your life, a year to forget yourself and really focus on God's word and dive deep into it. A lot of people have complained about the rules in the past, but the school recently reviewed the handbook and threw out any rules that could not be backed by the bible. It is a lot more relaxed this year, but there are still rules. The one thing I would remind anyone who is deterred by these rules is that even the school emphasises that these are not rules they are asking you to live your life by. It is only one year and the rules are there to help you focus on why you are there. The community at this school is amazing, many of the students are encouraging and Godly, and it is not hard to make friends here. The location is in the beautifully scenic Adirondack mountains right on a lake, I can promise you will be absolutely spoiled by the view. Before considering a second year at this school, know that this second year is for people who are seeking to seriously go into ministry. Remember that when making your decision about this school, praying is the key thing you need to be doing.
