I Loved the Guest Teachers That We Had. My favorite part of the lessons was the guest speakers that we had throughout the school year. They were all very qualified in their topic of teaching and I was able to further ask questions outside the class room and receive answers to my questions as well. Another thing that I really liked is that I am looking forward to going into youth ministry and I throughout the year was given so many opportunities to get myself started and gain experience for my future!

This is not a specific major because all students take the same courses, except for the electives. This is good because everyone has the same workload. The dorms are different - you can request cabins or larger dorms (for males) or different dorms (for females.) After second year, you can apply for an internship at the school, or cross cultural internship oversees for two years. As an alumni, you are eligible to attend the Israel tour, which takes place every spring as well.

I'm a Bible major and the classes at Word of Life are amazing. I have learned so much this year about more than just the content of the Bible but also the history and context behind it. Word of Life sets it up so we have visiting professors from all over, including leaders of top missionary boards and college presidents. Most of the professors have doctorates and have a wide range of experience in the field. All of our assignments are pretty simple and from my own experience, have benefited me a lot in and outside the classroom. Also, Word of Life is unique in that along with classes, we participate in ministries on and off campus that really let us put into practice what we're learning. It's a lot to take in but its definitely not more than anyone can handle and its more than worth it. Professors are available to answer any questions as well as have lunch and discuss personal matters.
