Worcester state university is one of my favorite colleges to take extra courses from. I do a lot of off campus classes at other schools to add credit to my home school transcript and I found that WSU had the cleanest and most open environment. They have a lot of perks and resources for their students compared to the other colleges I’ve taken classes at.
The only issue is, I wish they would expand their STEM major offerings. Their majors are mostly catered towards future educators and people seeking to go into Economics. They also offer great credit transfer programs for incoming and first year students! Their lunch area is pretty tasty and their student lounge areas are quite nice! Would recommend for students looking for a low cost public university option.

I went to Worcester State University as an undergraduate student studying early childhood with a second major in history. I found that most of the professors were incredibly interested in watching their students succeed and doing what it took to help them further their academic goals. I felt as though I was able to create some wonderful relationships with some of my professors who became role models and friends through my journey. This was incredibly important to me as it can be overwhelming sometimes to find our path in life, and when tasked with deciding your future at such a young age, a role model can make or break your decision. A good professor can concrete your decision, open doors, and make you certain of your career path, while an unenthusiastic professor can make you question your decisions. I think the people that work at Worcester State really encapsulate positivity and support their students and this is a big piece for me, when you are spending 4 years there.
Even though I am not at Worcester State all the time, and my some of my classes are online, Worcester State University has helped me grow as an individual to who I want to become. The Advisors, Financial Aid Advisors, they all have helped me take the next steps into my future, so I am not walking backwards.
