5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I have never even heard of it on campus!

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: We don't drink or do drugs. Not that I know of!

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: Never have seen it in the dorms but know it is there

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: Being at a Christian school, there aren't any students that desire to use drugs or alcohol. There may be a few students that have struggled in the past with these vices but genuinely want to change.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: The drug scene at Jessup is almost nonexistent and when someone does get caught doing drugs there is a no-tolerance attitude so punishments are taken seriously. There are of course a hand full of people who do, do drugs, but it is not an overwhelming amount of people.

Due to William Jessup being a Biblically based institution, no students are allowed to participate in drugs or alcohol on campus or otherwise. However, most students find the strict guidelines to be beneficial to their overall success and are more likely to encourage their friends to abstain from such activities than they are to be involved in them.

The consequences of drug or alcohol use by any student are often very severe, possibly resulting in expulsion, because it is a break in the student conduct contract. Overall, though, students are not peer pressured into participating in substance abuse of any kind, which is why William Jessup often has such a good reputation in the eyes of the students and community.
