Scholarships: It would be nice if there was more information about school scholarships but it is easy to get other forms of financial aid.

Off-Campus Housing: There is some apartments close to campus but not a ton of options.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: Sometime the the frats and sororities throw parties but other than that there isn't any big parties just some small house parties.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Your within 5-10 minutes of the mall so there are a lot of options located close to the campus.

3 College Freshman

Administration: The on-campus police are pretty friendly and helpful.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: The new dining is good and there is nice variety of other options around campus to choose from.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The new dorm is really nice; the only downside is not being able to park on campus if you live in the new dorm.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Easy access is great but not a large variety of healthier options due it mostly being fast food chains.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: School spirit and fan support for our athletes on campus is great. We are all Shockers to the core and regardless of if we are sports people or not we support and cheer on our team.

Off-Campus Housing: It is more common to commute than to live on campus. Immediate off campus housing is not great quality or great for safety. The nearby neighborhood is not especially safe and I do not recommend trying to live in close by off campus housing.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I know the Fraternities and Sororities do parties sometimes but due to not living on campus I have not been to any parties on campus and therefore do not know how many there normally are.

Administration: Parking is now once again permit required. They give tickets constantly. It is $25 per parking ticket when you do not have a permit where they can see it. There is still some limited free parking on campus if you are okay with taking shuttles or getting more exercise.

Campus Food: The Ratigan Student Center has great seating available and multiple food and beverage options in close proximity on the main floor as well as Shocker Grill downstairs.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Most of the restaurants are the greasy fast foods. The variety is not great either.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: The process can be stressful at times, but in the end I received my financial aid.

Campus Food: Because I don't have much money or a meal plan, I don't eat on campus much. I always loved eating at Blimpies because it offers fresh and healthy ingredients year round. Unfortunately it is more expensive. I usually end up eating at Taco Bell or Shocker Grill for cheap options.

Off-Campus Dining: I typically bring my lunch or eat off campus. There is always a number of good options if you have the time to get it. Make sure you go to a good part of town though.

Administration: Most subjects that typically are restricted or regulated I do not come in contact with. The rules are pretty general, mostly common sense with a few exceptions.

Scholarships: After receiving the merit scholarship, most aid is difficult to reach unless you qualify for special scholarships (race, gender, initial major, deep poverty, etc). Retrieving information necessary for understanding and using the system is difficult at best, only made easier with the many knowledgeable people on campus. If they're unavailable, it is very difficult to find out what aid you qualify for and what you can get.

Campus Food: This venue has the best options for food by far. There is a wide selection of options availible with both healthy and some non-healthy choices if your're looking for some sweets. I had to stop using the venue due to its high cost per meal as I can not afford to eat there frequently anymore. The all-you-can-eat style is great, but I simply cannot afford the high costs.

Campus Housing: While I personally do not live on campus, I spend a great deal of time in the dorms with many of my friends and I have done a great amount of research over the dorm room quality for some of my classes. While the experience can vary, the new Shocker Hall is very functionable and well kept. The price is fairly excessive in comparison to most dorms I have seen, however the services that come with the package deal is well worth the price.

Campus Food: I feel the food served on campus is manageable. Although most of the times I do not look forward in eating at the cafeteria because it is usually the repetition of food. There is really nothing exciting. The price is pretty affordable for students. I really appreciate bit when chefs from outside are called because we get to eat really delicious meals, and at times I just feel like sleeping there and eating it all. Overall the campus food is okay.

Campus Housing: Living in the dorms is the best thing that has happened during my college years. The dorm where I live at is so neat and well organized. There is always a social event which helps me network with friends. I have met a lot of people and lifelong friends from the events hosted by the housing team that I feel so blessed and privileged.
