Overall Experience: Because it is my first year it was kind of difficult so I had to pace myself this year, but other then that it was great

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: I am in the nursing program, which I was told was top notch. I unfortunately do not believe that is the case. The nursing program is more concerned with teaching us to pass the NCLEX, than teaching us how to be good nurses. They place too much weight on the ATI computer testing, and charge us a lot for it, and I feel as if I can just teach myself if I'm going to be taking a bunch of online training. We have little time for actual school work and the teachers aren't as concerned about us being good nurses and helping people, but rather how to pass our boards. They say that we'll learn how to be nurses in the field do don't worry about it. Wouldn't choose this school again if I had to do it all over again.

Athletics: I personally am not here for the varsity sports. This is my second degree and I don't care either way how our teams are doing note do I have any opinion whatsoever on the matter. It appears that we are pretty good at volleyball, being national champs and all. The facilities are top notch though, which says a lot about the importance placed on our sports program. I played football in college the first time around and out is disappointing that we do not have a football team at this school.

4 College Junior

Athletics: Wheeling Jesuit's athletics are one to be envied, but they are greatly overpowered at this university. Because most students are involved in one sport or another, it is quite easy for other students to support and cheer on other teams.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Upon being accepted to Wheeling Jesuit University, I was very skeptical for my experience there. It took a little for myself to become generally acquainted with what I really wanted to do at this institution, but with the help of the great professors in my field, I was able to do so. I have learned to love my major because of the help and guidance of my professors and especially, the friends I have met.

4 College Junior

Academics: Challenging but it can be done

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Classes are really hard. You have to have great time management skills and be studious. My major is hard but I enjoy it. We have about 15 people in our major classes and our professors are amazing. Core classes are struggling and challenging but professors are willing to help

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It has a Jesuit name so it is pretty prestigious. Once jobs look at your resume, the name will give you an extra edge against other people. My advisor is great for helping me with classes and internship shopping.

1 College Junior

Campus Housing: Needs a lot of work. Most of dorms on campus are old and a lot of problems.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Nothing to brag about. It is a D2 school

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: School is really expensive. Needs some remodeling like new dorms. Not much fun things to do around Wheeling or on campus. Needs better food also.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Classes are very tough and the professors make you work hard and study hard. I feel very prepared and almost that I more educated in things than other students from schools.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: There's always security patrolling the campus. I always feel safe. There's really no need to worry when you're on campus walking around at night especially. The school was placed into a safe/nice community. Security can be very helpful too.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The size of the class is excellent if you're into small classroom settings. Majority of your general-Ed classes will typically have more kids, but once you get into your specified classes, it can small. Like roughly 10 kids in a class sometimes. With this being said, it's nice because you have a good 1-1 student/teacher ratio. The professors are generally nice and they will take the time to help you. Plus, they know you by name, first and last.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Basically every building on campus, minus one, is old. 2 of the housing places had to get shut down for repairs. They're old and not up to date. It's like living in a prison

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: We got a brand new field and seating.. Which is nice. Our main gym is good too. They're very basic

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Depends on what field you're getting into.. That determines your professors and classes. Majority of the professors are there to help you and they generally care about your success.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing would be great if the school would allow it! Instead, they keep us trapped in campus housing with very little option or leeway in moving off.

4 College Junior

Party Scene: The party is everyone at Jesuit and on every night of the week.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are a few nice places, and there will always be Sheetz.

3 College Junior

Administration: I feel like our strictness does alright, but it is very random. One person can get away with something and then another person can't. Not very fair.

2 College Junior

Campus Food: The food options are bad. I end up eating a salad or a sandwich at almost every meal. They do what they can, but it's just not good. All I can say is that I don't starve, but I don't feel I am being provided for nutritionally.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I think the process is relatively easy, but I am still going through it. I am blessed to receive a lot of scholarships, but I am still looking for more and that has been hard. Once you get past the initial entrance stage to college it becomes very hard to receive additional funding. My only advice is to keep trying.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: The campus housing at Jesuit is typical. It meets my needs, but I personally think it is overpriced. Also, the newly computerized housing process is unfair and I do not like it at all.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: The actual financial aid people were helpful but my counselor I was suppose to deal with and send my scholarship papers to never returned a phone call or email so I didn't receive any aid I should have.
