Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
The Filene Center for Academic Advising & Career Services is the place to go for finding jobs and internships. From holding seminars on how to find summer internships, to personal appointments on writing your résumé, to career fairs in collaboration with alumnae/i, the Filene Center provides students with a plethora of options to plan their lives after Wheaton College. Students are also given many opportunities for funding possibilities for summer internships that are unpaid, such as the Wheaton Fellows program and the Wheaton Foundation Grants. In addition, a number of more specific summer internship funding opportunities, such as the Davis International Fellows scholarship for internships abroad and the Cisneros Fellows scholarship for art interns. The Filene Center prides itself in helping students apply the variety of lessons they learn from their liberal arts education to the "real world."
