4 College Senior

Online Courses: I enjoy being able to have online classes. They are convenient when you are sick and can't make it into class, you can turn in assignments online.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Due to class sizes being smaller, student to professor relationship is excellent

Online Courses: My professor lived on another state. He was slow to respond and get grades in. I still hadn't received a grade back for my rough draft before my final paper was due.

Online Courses: The school's online courses have made quite a convenience for many students with conflicting schedules and students who have different learning styles. Online classes may not offer the community-environment that most traditional classrooms in the school offers, online students experience a more personalise environment, not necessarily confined to traditional schedules, styles, and approaches. A variety of resources such as teacher contacts, academic sources, and others have aided many students, such as myself, in catering to interact and become educated for these online courses. The online classes have easy to understand displays and interactive guidelines that students would have little difficulties in learning where and how to submit, write, or do assignments, videos, and learning agendas. Because of the more personalised approach, many students have to manage the workload by themselves with little interaction and aid from external sources, so students with online courses have to rely on themselves and each other to placate disorganisation. Messages and chatrooms offer features to interact with teachers and other students alike, though some at inconvenient time tables and often left to respond in uncertain or intermittent times. Although the online courses offer a more personalised approach in education, one has to be self-disciplined and adaptive to the Internet to run through Whatcom's online educational system.

Online Courses: A lot of learning on your own, not much contact with the profs and still have to come on campus to test for some classes. I'd recommend on campus classes.
