2 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: It's really hard to find a place to live around campus

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: the food around here gets really boring really fast

2 College Junior

Administration: i absolutely hate the campus police. Even when I've done nothing wrong, they are horrible

3 College Junior

Party Scene: not really a big part person. I've only been to a few

2 College Junior

Scholarships: stingy freaking university. I have had to appeal the whole process 3 times

2 College Junior

Campus Food: most of it is bad and the few good options are really expensive

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: i spend a lot of time on campus and I really don't like it.

Local Area: Sugar House is an excellent neighborhood. It's safe, pretty, cozy, diverse, convenient, everything except cheap.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Most students are pretty. There are a lot of athletes, especially skiers and soccer players. People dress pretty casually for the most part.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The professors are great, the campus and student body size are perfect.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I've had a wonderful time here. Especially in the theater department, the professors and classes are amazing.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I haven't really been here long enough to have a good idea of the network, but the theater department is very close.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There's a tremendous sexual assault prevention community on campus.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I dine pretty much exclusively on-campus. I paid good money for that meal plan. But there are a decent amount of options off-campus. Mostly chain restaurants.

3 College Freshman

Administration: I'm pretty straight-edged, so I've never had any problems with the law, and I don't really know anybody that has, either.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I got all of my aid easily, the office is really helpful if you know what you're looking for. I got really generous aid, but it still wasn't enough to cover everything, which has been a struggle.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: I'm just not a partier, so I'm ill-equipped to answer.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Shaw food is just fine. Nothing spectacular, and eventually it gets a bit monotonous, but it's never truly bad.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: This year, I'm in traditional style freshman housing, which is nice enough. I like the bed/desk setup, there's adequate space for storage and living in general. Bathrooms are public, but that's never been a major problem. Temperature is easy to control. RA is a cool guy.

College Freshman

Athletics: Not a big part of athletics

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I am still required to live on campus

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Not many late night places but most of the places are pretty cheap few have student discounts though.

3 College Freshman

Administration: Campus is not very strict it is pretty average.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: The people in the financial aid office are not very helpful they will tell you what website to go to but that is the extent of their help. When asking about scholarships they only said they were no longer accepting scholarships for that semester but to go to the website for further information.

College Freshman

Party Scene: Im not part of the party scene but I've heard that the U throws great parties

Overall ExperienceWhat's this?

Westminster offers a great overall experience, with most students appreciating their time spent at the College. The faculty is awesome, and the classes are really interesting. Plus, Salt Lake City is a really cool place in which to live and study. Come to campus prepared to ski and snowboard!

The most common issue people have is with the school's size. It is a very small campus, where everyone knows most everyone. It does not have the same feeling as a huge university. Some people attend Westminster out of necessity and proximity from home, but it still often ends up being a great choice for them. Westminster's reputation is continually getting better, and the College is becoming a more well-known school.
