Very Good for a Small School! Western Nevada College is a great school. I enjoy going there because I like the smaller classroom and the more personable opportunity with professors and students. The classes seem to be good, but most classes are offered at night. I wish more classes could be offered in the morning. Class registration seems to be pretty simple though. I would recommend Western Nevada College to any student looking for a smaller environment to get their degree.

So far I have been very impressed with the care and compassion of the professors here. The grounds are kept well and the classrooms are hardly ever overcrowded, and when they are overcrowded they are always for popular classes so sign up as soon as possible to guarantee your spot in the class!

The professors at Western Nevada College are well established and wonderful professors. They have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum they teach and first-hand experience within their field. They are excellent resources to their students seeking knowledge. Where Western Nevada College fails to succeed falls in the class registration process and work study options. Class registration is conducted entirely online, but the website is not user-friendly and makes searching available classes difficult. There is no digital class schedule; all classes must be searched in order to locate and sign up for a particular class and section. Summer classes are very limited and many students have to attend other colleges in order to be able to take the classes they need to complete their degrees on time. Although work study programs are offered, they are limited in number and are not made readily available to students.
