Campus Food

4 College Senior

Campus Food: I like the fresh food court, the option's are always changing. Don't have to walk to far for food, only minutes for a walk. Employers are friendly. The fast food places are not as healthy but Fresh is. The only problem is Fresh and other places seem to close early. Sometimes you have classes that end at 7:30 and you have barely enough time to get something from Fresh because they will be closing.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: Definitely needs improvement. The food here is ALWAYS inconsistent. The meals are overpriced and very limited on options. Fresh is okay sometimes but other times it sucks. Probably the best place would be Popeyes Chicken. Also it sucks that you lose your meal swipes after the week if you don't use them all.

Campus Food: I always know what I want to eat and it's always available. There's something for everyone. Convenient and cheap. The meal plans are the best thing.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Campus really needs to offer more healthy options. Fresh should stick to less ethnic food, become more consistent with offering good meals. I would 10 times out of 10 just do away with meal plans if you are able due to more variety of food option and its way cheaper using Big Red Dollars.

Campus Food: I really like the campus food options at WKU. There are so many different options to choose from, and the cafeteria food is also really nice. The prices are very applicable.

One of the first things many students want to know about the campus is the quality of food. WKU has many options that are sure to please pretty much anyone. On campus, students can find sandwiches, pizza, burgers, buffets, homestyle cuisine, burritos, pasta, chicken, sushi, and more! Vegetarians and carnivores alike can always find something delicious to eat.

At each place, there are certain combinations that are on a meal plan. For example, at Subway, students can get a sandwich, drink, and apples, chips, or two cookies.  At Izzi's, students get a burrito, chips, and a drink. The downside is, unless you have a meal plan, the food can get a little pricey. Without a meal plan, combinations can cost $5 to $6, but nothing costs more than what students would normally pay in a restaurant. Of course, at the end of the semester, even the best places can get a little old, and the most delicious places are often the most unhealthy, but, in general, even the pickiest eater can agree that WKU outshines many other places when it comes to dining.
