4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have been to overnight orientation and they coordinated many activities to introduce us to fellow class members and activities to get us comfortable with policies, campus activities and school requirements. It was well organized and very informative.

Overall Experience: WCU is a tight-knit school in the mountains. It is great for folks who like to enjoy the outdoors, hike, and get away from it all. Their Engineering program is growing and I love the smaller class sizes as you get to learn more from the professors and they are very hands on. I would choose it again in a moment.

Overall Experience: There are wonderful things about WCU, and then there are some crummy things. But the school is growing and becoming better as time goes on.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: My college experience has been amazing! Although i haven't been in college for too long I already have a bunch of memories and experiences. I can not wait to make many more memories!

Campus Housing: living on campus is easier to commute but small spaces to live in

4 College Junior

Administration: Campus strictness is very efficient. There aren't any major accidents or scandals, and students are able to enjoy the perks of the college.

Off-Campus Housing: It's great living off campus, you have your own space and privacy unlike the dorms. Most apartments are either on campus or across the street. The cost of apartments are a little pricy for college students, but still affordable.

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus is great for when you want something other than the cafeteria or "downstairs." There is a variety of places students can eat and the cost is fairly average. Most places have certain days for student discounts.

Administration: College students are expected to act like adults, so we make our own decisions (good or bad).

Campus Food: There are a variety of places to eat on campus for example, chickfila, mcAlisters, wich wich. It's great to eat at these places when you're just not in the mood for buffet cafe food.

Campus Housing: It's pretty great to live on campus. It's so easy being close to everything for instance; classes and the cafeteria. It's also nice to just hangout by the fountain on warm days/nights. Great views of the mountains on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There are so many housing, the only problem I have is the cost of living at some apartments and that isn't enough one bedroom for students.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: The parties at WCU is average, it all depends on the group you are around at the time. The frat parties have been popular and its not just the stereotype of trust fund babies but there are students who are hippie, free-spirit, sporty, nerdy it includes all groups. There are good vibes, I haven't been at a party where there was drama or a fight. All the parties I had attended was a lot of fun and everyone looks out for each other when it comes to driving and making sure everyone gets home safe. We all might not be friends but we are all family, because literally people care about the life of someone else.

Off-Campus Dining: There are so many different varies of dining off campus, and the environment is open and easy going. The people in the area have great hospitality, they are supportive for fundraisers and helping the WCU students and their community, the cost is perfect and discounts are available is some smaller local businesses and dining.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: The university knows that students are going to explore, and try new things whether it is approved or not approved. WCU has made it to where a student won't be discriminated or judge based on what they do during their own time but they make it available for resources if they need help or guidance.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial office is very informative and resourceful towards all students.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: There is such diverse in the food around the area, there is always great food and great vibes.

Campus Housing: I feel it is required for every student to live on campus to actually experience not just the university academics but the social and self growth. The atmosphere is open and everyone is so nice and ready to start new adventures. I haven't had a bad experience at living at the dorms except sharing a bathroom and shower with many females.

Greek Life: One frat was banned from campus hah

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Eh.. sports aren't my thing

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus dining? That is a thing here?

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Need more. Not a lot of space.
