Overall Experience: I am enjoying my experience at WVU. I learned last semester that I should get more involved with activities to help keep me active and not napping all the time!

Overall Experience: Alumni network will help me in the future.

Greek Life: I joined greek life and I do not regret it.

Athletics: I love mountaineer football and basketball.

Overall Experience: I am loving school. The only reason I have struggled in the past is because I have not gone to class.

Diversity: Our campus is very diverse, there are lot of foreign students and I think everyone enjoys it because it gives us a chance to learn about other countries and cultures. Everyone is very accepting to others.

Drug Safety: We have a reputation for being a party school for sure but if that is not for you then you wont be judged for it and their are plenty of people who choose to not partake, and there are a lot of fun things to do on campus that do not involve drugs or alcohol. I have never been peer pressured here to do anything I did not want to. In the dorms they are pretty strict about breaking the rules.

Health & Safety: I have never felt unsafe here in Morgantown. We not only have an excellent police department but also the university police who's only concern is the students and the safety of our campus. There are police phones located all over campus in case of an emergency. I strongly believe that the students here are smart and well behaved individuals and I always feel safe on campus. I nor anyone that I know has ever had any safety problems or concerns.

Overall Experience: This school offers so many different courses. I have found my classes to be not only educational but also interesting. The professors here really do want to see their students succeed and provide help when needed. The class sizes very from small classrooms to large lecture halls but even in my biggest classes I do not feel like im just a number, I have always gotten the attention and help i'v needed from my teachers.

Overall Experience: I am only in my 2nd semester here at WVU but I am confident that with a degree from this university I will be able to find a valuable internship and be on an excellent career path.

Campus Housing: I live in one of the older buildings. None of the rooms have AC so in the beginning of the fall semester it was a very hard to adjust to the hot temperatures. I do like how convenient it is to have a dining hall in the building. The walk to classes is a bit far but its doable. The rooms are small but they come with a decent amount of storage space.

Greek Life: I think the greek life is great for those who wish to join. They form bonds and friendships while also helping the community. Personally I don't feel that it is for me.

Athletics: I think that out of all the great things this school has to offer, athletics is probably one of my favorites. When I was looking at schools I knew I wanted to be surrounded by school spirit and pride. That is exactly what WVU is about. Game days are really something special here there is no doubt about that. Everyone here is proud to be a mountaineer and that definitely shows on game days, whether it be at a football game, or soccer everyone gets super involved and it is a great time for everyone. On top of that we have some really incredible training facilities. Our recreational center is state of the art and is a great motivator for students to stay fit and healthy.

Overall Experience: If I could do the application process all over again, I would choose West Virginia University time and time again. This place has felt like home since the first day I set foot on campus two years ago during a tour. I would not change anything about it. It has so much pride and such a positive attitude that rubs off on anyone who passes through. I knew this is where I belonged and this is where I want to be for the next three and half years.

Overall Experience: While I have had rough spots my first year here, the professors have been very helpful in making sure we all learn what we need to learn. We don't get "free" passes here, but we are given chances to fix what were are doing wrong. Most of my major's courses are very interesting, (I should hope so, I like computers)

Overall Experience: From what I can tell, alot of businesses are very interested in WVU especially in its engineering program.

Greek Life: Greek Life is typical around most campuses. I never entirely looked at greek life in a "positive" light due to the fact most of them are there to just to "hang out and get wasted." Many students enjoy this kind of atmosphere, but I'm not interested in the slightest.

Athletics: WVU is well known for its football and basketball teams respectively, with a one of the few self funded athletic programs in the country, we have very good facilities to accommodate the various sports played here.

Overall Experience: While WVU does have some transportation issues (Especially with the PRT), the school's actual academics are pretty good. All of the professors and proctors I have had so far are very knowledgeable in their fields, and they keep class interesting.

Campus Housing: I live in Lincoln Hall, and it's one of the best places to live on campus. I love living here because all of the RAs are very nice and approachable, and they enforce the rules, but they aren't mean about it. For example, if it's past quiet hours, people aren't supposed to be in the lobby talking because they can be loud, but RAs walk by and don't say anything unless you're being loud. I've met so many new people living here than I would have if I would have lived in an apartment.

Athletics: The school spirit here at WVU is amazing. When I'm in the crowd at football games, I can feel that everyone there is united and rooting for the Mountaineers.

Overall Experience: I love going to WVU. There are so many different kinds of people, and everyone is nice to one another. The professors I've had have been kind and caring towards their students, and helped whenever someone asked for it. Everyone I have met here has said how much they love it here, and I couldn't agree more.

Overall, students have made it pretty clear that they are really enjoying their time at WVU. Looking back through this book, it can be seen that WVU has garnered many high grades for subjects such as social scene, academics, and athletics. It is clear that there are many things the school excels in. The aforementioned are huge parts of campus life at WVU, and the students have said nothing but good things about them. While there were many high grades, there were a few grades that show the University could still improve in certain areas. It is clear that the campus dining services are not doing a great job pleasing the students, nor is the parking situation on campus. Considering these are two pretty important things on a college campus, the University should quickly take the right steps to move those two issues into a positive direction.

The attitude at WVU seems pretty split between academics and social events. While most students attend WVU with the expectation of a great education, there are a select few who come to WVU because of the potential party scene. Either way, WVU offers something for each side. With each incoming class comes the promise to improve upon faults and provide students with the best possible experience and education. The athletics program is on the rise and on the verge of gaining national prominence. The academic programs are showing promise as more WVU graduates are gaining recognition for their accomplishments. WVU is a student-oriented university, and should be considered by incoming freshmen who want to be treated to a great college education and experience.
