3 College Junior

Student Body: Everyone is nice and is just there to finish their GED and transfer.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Wish they were a little more organized.

Academic Experience: I am just doing my GED then plan to go to the phlebotomy program at another college here in Fresno, CA. But even if I choose to widen my study in the medical field, I am taking classes that will help me transfer and be able to get a higher degree.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Everyone, including the professors, is there for you when ever you need help. I love that the professors and advisors push you to take advantage of the work studies they have and the professors we have. No one wants to see you not succeed and do what you want to do in life.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I just started school last semester and I took two online classes. At first I was really worried about how I was going to juggle them both but it was really easy and I learned a lot even though online classes are about teaching yourself. I loved my online classes and continue to take one online class this semester.

Career Services: I don't really know much about the post-grad services at West Hills in Firebaugh. Haven't heard much about it.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: I have yet to use any of the resources we have on campus but everyone says the tutors are awsome and are really helpful. I know that if I ever need help on my homework the tutors will be there to help.

3 College Junior

Career Services: The quality of post-grad services at school are alright because they dont offer as much jobs as they should

4 College Junior

Student Body: I would say the student body is good, beceause there is a lot of interaction

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I havent taken any online classes

3 College Junior

Campus Quality: What i would say differ this college from other is the social scene. You would see everybody interacting with each other either for homework or just to get to know each other.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The money im recieving is very little but it was help me to get my classes and not pay any at all

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library in this campus is not bad, they have a lot of books, mostly all of them are helpful. The computers are in good conditions sometimes i have a problem with one but its not an issue because they have plenty to choose from.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The network its alright, not fast but not slow.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility of my classes works perfectly not only because i have time to get to one class to another but also because i also have time to do last minute reviews before every class.

Overall Experience: West Hills in Coalinga is not a bad collge yet its not the best one either. Some memebers of the faculty really sepnd time explaining all the different types of questions you have. They help you whenever you need help. What makes my school unique, i must say, is the attention each proffesor gives to you, they spend time explaining when you have any questions.

5 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: WHC is unique from any other school in the fact that the academic advisors, instructors, and staff are very easily available.

Academic Experience: I feel that West Hills College- Coalinga is a great college. I did not intend on attending WHC but I feel that it has been a blessing. The professors are usually easy to get ahold of, the curriculum is challenging in the most positive way, and over all it is a great school.

Academic Experience: I feel that being a communication major at West Hills College-Coalinga is not a totally difficult task. I feel that the instructors that I have had, did in fact have a great deal of influence on me in regards to becoming a COM major. Because I have only been exposed to a brief amount of courses, I need to further my education to actually be able to feel confident in Communications. The workload from the two years of experience I have had, has been manageable. Once I transfer in the Fall I can only imagine it getting tougher.

5 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: I feel that the online classes that I have been apart of did a great job in giving the information needed and the proper instructions to create a positive, productive, work environment.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: the staff is friendly and there's always someone there when you need help, but this college doesn't really offer the classes I need for my major which makes my chances harder when applying to transfer to a four year university

3 College Student

Campus Resources: When people go to college they are faced with out many acquaintances. What sets this school apart is that it is a small school so everyone will eventually get to know each other and also there is a local "derby" which is like a small little carnival that comes to town every summer, and the college students get into groups and start clubs and sell things to the community and make even more acquaintances.

4 College Student

Campus Resources: There are many computers available at the school. You can find over 25 computers in the library ready to be used. If they all happen to be in use, which hardly ever happens, you can bring your own computer and use the available Wi-Fi they have and complete your work without having to worry about anything.

Campus Resources: West Hills Coalinga is a pretty great school but I find it to be a little big to plain and ordinary. Not much to do but there are some very good things about it. I like the fact that it has a community pool for everyone to thrive on. I also like the hang out place they have which is where college students go when they have time to just hang out and catch up with some friends.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am currently a High School student so I'm balancing my regular high school work and on top of that online work for college. I know I am an A material student but things can get a little difficult at times. I am still in high school so I am not receiving financial aid at the moment which means I have to pay for most of my books and school supplies out of my own pocket. I don't mind paying those few bucks though because I know I'll receive it back in time once I successfully graduate from college and start my career.
