Overall Experience: I love West Coast University because it is challenging! The professors are very passionate about teaching and care about your success at the university. I love that it is fast paced because it constantly keeps me on my toes and focused. One that that makes West Coast stand out is the fact that there is no waiting list! I had classmates that were put on 2-5 year waiting lists, can you believe that? West Coast is definitely one of a kind and I can't picture myself going anywhere else. I know that they will give me the tools to become a great nurse!

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I was disappointed with administration not being flexible with purchasing homework materials because of their loyalty to book companies. Teachers are a hit or miss, some being genuinely knowledgable while others are there to collect a paycheck. If it's the latter I don't feel like I'm getting my money's worth. It seems the school can't offer enough supplies especially for necessary skills within our scope of practice. Student services is helpful, and I appreciate all they offer.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: So far everything is organized and runs smoothly.

4 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Some teachers are better than others but they all mostly follow rubrics that are pre written so if u follow those u r golden

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I am doing general ed's so I haven't had much opportunity or need to access said resources.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I know there are a lot of job/internship prospect at this school. Students actually get emails from the school telling them about different internship and volunteer opportunities.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Online class seems harder than traditional class. There is the convenience of taking the class at home, however there seems to be a larger work load.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: There is a good amount of diversity. There are people from every walk of life at this school. There are more older people than average universities.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education is in the price tag. This is school is very expensive at the same time, students finish faster and able to get a job sooner. Financial aid office is great, they are on top of their stuff. I like their proactive attitudes, calling students in for appointments and helping students find the right loan and loan amount all the way up until graduation.

5 College Sophomore

Career Services: To be honest, West Coast University is a great school for career opportunities. They also offer a variety of health related post graduate programs. I am not sure about alumni network but I know for sure the Career center actually tries to help their students find a job after graduation.

Academic Experience: West Coast University is a great school for nursing major. Although the work load is a lot people have to understand that this is an accelerated program and it is year round. There would not be any breaks. Even though the curriculum is rigorous it is manageable and you will learn a lot. The facilities are adequate, with everything a person needs. There are a lot of internship and job opportunities offer, students will receive emails update around every month about internships or volunteers opportunities.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors are great. They are very knowledgeable and they definitely know their materials. Class registration process is a breeze, because it is online and usually goes without any trouble. The curriculum is rigorous having a 9 week term is not easy but it is doable. There is a program called PAL which is Peer Assisted Learning to help anyone who is struggling.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Athletic centers does not exist. Student center, libraries, campus activities are minimal. It is very small compare to other schools. The general campus aesthetics are mediocre.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very costly, but well worth it for a BSN.

Career Services: The counselor's at West Coast University are willing to help new grad students find jobs near the school and the hospital sites they worked at. There are career workshops that help you jump start your resume.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: To be a nursing major at school can be very stressful and challenging , but rewarding at the same time. Sometimes you have to work for 12 hours straight at the hospital and have school the following morning. You have to make sacrifices in your life and make time to study hard. You get the chance to network with people from different hospitals that can eventually help you get a job.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The workload can be overwhelming, but if you balance your time wisely you can succeed.

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Students don't need to stress getting into a class because the University's academic team plans each students term according to their schedule.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I'm glad I chose West Coast University to attend because they are quarterly meaning more fast pace that will make my time there shorter.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The professors are very knowledgeable with the nursing field by having a nursing degree they can tell you first hand experiences and gainful knowledge about the nursing field. The class sizes are fair, ranging to 30 students per class. The school plans out the courses you take each semester that makes it less stressful for the student.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Attending West Coast University, I hope to soak up as much knowledge as possible so I could do my best in my future profession as a nurse. Going to different hospital sights and meeting their staff, I hope to network with them, as well as my fellow nursing classmates.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: My experience having an online class opposed to having one in a classroom is physical interaction you get with your fellow peers and professors. While you are engaged online, it doesn't compare to learning something physically in person. You have a better understanding of what is going on.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I've rated it, "its okay" because tuition is very costly. On the plus side, they now offer scholarships directly from the University. The financial aid process is very straight forward. They list down exactly what you need to do and what you will need for an appointment prior to getting a student loan.

5 College Freshman

Career Services: A counselor from the school will help you get jobs near the area you've attended nursing school. Hospitals you've had clinicals with will consider you greatly when applying to they're hospital.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: There are many renovations being done to make more resources available to the students at West Coast University. There are so far, three study rooms, one computer room with charging docks for phones and lap tops, and an outdoor area to get some fresh air and study.
