Career Services: From what I know, the alumni of this school has been able to find jobs and use West Coast's career services to find jobs and find other resources to build one's resume, interview skills, etc.

Overall Experience: It's cool connecting with different students who are after different areas of nursing at West Coast. I like how I am surrounded by students of all different ages, ethnicity, and life experience while studying for the same degree in nursing.

Overall Experience: I was so stressed out about not getting into the nursing program in my previous school and making the decision to come to WCU was hard because the school is so expensive. But the academic adviser and financial aid adviser made the process and transition to school easier and they were helpful, fast, and eager to answer my questions. I really appreciated that and valued that part of coming into this school.

Overall Experience: This is my first term at WCU, and so far it has been okay. A lot of my courses transferred over but there are some courses West Coast requires you to take there. Parking can be a hassle at the Manchester building but if you come half an hour early it should be okay. The courses are all accelerated so it's important that if you are a student there that you do not slack off and definitely put in work. I am nervous about the clinical courses but so far West Coast has many workshops to help students in receiving good information and I know that WCU is pretty resourceful.

Academic Flexibility: Transferring credits to and from this university were relatively easy. They did require you to take a few classes on campus that wouldn't transfer but also allowed you to request another look at the course if they didn't allow it at first.

Online Courses: the workload is about the same as an on campus course. The professors were easily reachable and got back to you in a quick manner. Also encouraged student interaction each week.

Career Services: The career services group really help out their students during their courses as well as after in finding a job. They help you after you graduate with continued studying and workshops to prepare for the NCLEX

Overall Experience: The staff at WCU is great. The classes are about 50 people in theory and go to around 10 or less in clinical and skills which makes learning more enjoyable and easier if you have questions. They have implemented the flip method of teaching which is half lecture and half interaction. This helps with critical thinking and application.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Career services is extremely helpful. They will help you with resumes, volunteering, becoming a CNA and finding a job, getting career fairs organized for all students.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: There are a ton of resources and people there wanting to help you succeed and be the best possible nurse. We all know that one day in our career that we may be caring for their loved ones and you want to know that they will be getting the best care possible.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: This school is a tough one, it is accelerated, pricey, but is completely geared toward nursing. It not an easy career so you have to expect that you will have to put in a lot of work to be good at it.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Transferring credits to this school is easier than transferring to another school

4 College Junior

Online Courses: This is my first online course so far so good

4 College Junior

Career Services: Because the program works with Hoag and UCLA as well as other hospitals the internships and employment should be an advantage

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The people at my school are paying for a specific degree and are career orinentated

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I feel that the price is a little high and worry about student debt but the application experience was fine

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: This program should be worth the expense for the final reward of 90% employment once qualified

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I really enjoy the size of the classes. Everyone is friendly and helpful and so develop study partners easily. 8 week classes are fast pace but the hands on experience makes them more fun and easier to understand

Academic Flexibility: I took many classes before I decided to attend this school. Turns out I need a few more before core only to be a requirement for this school which was very frustrating because of cost. The school is very strict on there classes and curriculum and there is not much you can do. You just have to take the classes and move one with the program!

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Its more convient to do certain classes online especially if they do not require much in depth learning but I do like classes that are in person just because the interaction is greater. I also feel that I learn a lot more in in class room expertness.

4 College Senior

Career Services: From what I here its good! Most students that graduate find a job fairly quick and easy!

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: I will take with me so much experience and advice I have learned with some of my professors thus far. They teach me things to be aware of when out in the field that I'm working in they I might not have know before. They also truly care and just want empathetic, assertive nurses out there doing good patient care and thats what they teach us!

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: The school works very hard at educating students about Job opportunities in the area. They also hold a job fair every few months. They have people there at school waiting to assist you with any questions you may have regarding job opportunities. In addition hospitals in the area inform our students about openings for CNA work.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: It is very easy at my school because we are all trying to be nursing majors, so we all know each one another. The workload is strenuous and doesn't really give you time to have a job. Its a demanding program but what you put into it you will get out so working hard and learning as much as possible will benefit you!

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Its very cool because we are connected with many hospitals so for every rotation its something new. We also have a simulation lab that make Everthing all that much real with beneficial real like situations played out!
