Off-Campus Dining

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I personally like to go to eat off campus only if the cafeteria is closed for I am on the college life kind of budget. However, when I do venture out my favorite place to go is a chinese restaurant not five minutes away. It is very delisious and very cheap. I have found more than enough places to eat at near the school and each one is at a decent price. Thankfully they are not mostly fastfood places.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: It's mostly fast food chains so nothing to talk about

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Pizza and Chinese food are the main late-night options on campus if you do not have a car. However you could go to the Kroger to find food. Off-campus dinning depends on having a car, there are people on campus that are nice enough to give you a ride if you ask but having a car is much needed. Most of the restaurants around Wesleyan have student discounts which can be nice.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Just about every where gives student discounts.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are many restaurants near Wesleyan College.

A student's access to a variety of good food depends on whether or not she's willing to explore the nearby areas. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of campus, one of which offers a discount to Wesleyan students. Kroger is also in the same shopping center, which is wonderful, especially when someone needs to purchase groceries at the last minute. If an individual limits herself to these three resources, however, she will not experience the dining experience that Macon has to offer. Fast food, Japanese, Mexican, and American-style options are located on Zebulon Road, which is only a few minutes away from the school. When seeking a better selection, it is best to check out the restaurants downtown, even if it requires an extra 15 minutes in the car. Fine dining, Southern style, Thai, Greek delis, Vietnamese, Chinese, seafood, Italian, and much more await hungry customers. Prices vary, but any type of Asian, Greek, or Italian cuisine usually has college-friendly meals.

It is easy to find one's favorite meal, as long as an individual does not limit herself to a two-mile radius. Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard is another road with a few good food choices, but occasionally, it gets overcrowded. In regards to keeping kosher, students may be able to find something on a menu in Macon that is edible; however, the kosher section in grocery stores is the best option if she does not want to take chances.
