4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: I haven't started school yet so I couldn't answer these questionds.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: The college is an all girls school, and there are many lesbian couples. At Wesleyan we are a community, and we all accept whatever you are. If you look around Wesleyan we are extremely diverse, and we all have different styles. There are many students from around the world who bring their personalities to Wesleyan, and American students get to experience different lifestyles. It is a small campus so we all see each other often. Our sports are supported, and it is a good school to make lifetime friends.

5 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Everyone is very beautiful, I think; almost everyone is a part of something. All the students are nice, fun, easy-to-talk-to people. There are lots of people with the same interest as me so I'm sure I'll make lots of new friends.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: For the reason that this is a women's institution, no one really cares what you wear. However, I prefer that you look decent, meaning that your hygiene should be up to part and that you have on clothes (not including pajamas). Wesleyan is a diverse collegiate school. Hence, there are a variety of styles, personalities, interests are that are shared on campus. Regardless of who you are, you will never be isolated from a community or forgotten. Wesleyannes look out for each other, which is something we call "sisterhood".

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Wesleyan is a female college so there are no men here ( except the professors and the staff). People are friendly, but when you come into the school your class is given a particular name, and some of the upper class men refuse to talk to the freshmen class. Other than that Wesleyans female population is awesome

Due to the fact that Wesleyan is an all-women's college, the only male students found on campus are those in the EMBA program (executive master of business administration). Thus, the average student is a female who places more focus on academics rather than her appearance. The lack of guys on campus removes a distraction factor for the heterosexual students and also permits a more accepting environment for lesbian and bisexual students. For new students and transfer students, it takes a few weeks to adjust, but the transition is smooth because they discover a new level of intellectual discussion that can only be shared among women.

A common misconception about Wesleyan is that everyone on campus is a lesbian. While there is a small percentage of homosexual women, the majority of the student population is heterosexual. Also, there is a balance between individuals who are sexually promiscuous and those who are more reserved.

Social Scene
Wesleyan students are known for being outgoing, and because it is a small college, it makes interaction among peers even more frequent. Whether someone is a new, returning, or transfer student, she will always be able to meet new people. Regardless of setting, conversations are never boring and are usually shared among many women who become lifelong friends. In their spare time, students are active in organizations and clubs, volunteering in the community or planning small dorm parties. No matter what, there is always something going on.
Hookups or Relationships?
The majority of the students on campus is single, but others are either in a long-term relationship or a long-distance relationship. It is common for Wesleyannes (Wesleyan students) to date men or women from local colleges and universities in the Macon area; however, there are not many hookups. If someone does hook up with an acquaintance, it is done off campus because there are very few private areas on campus, excluding a dorm room or apartment.
Dress Code
On a normal school day, most Wesleyan students dress casually or semi-formal. Each individual is very different; therefore, no two women hold the same dress standards. When there is a convocation or dance, however, formal dresses and heels find their way out of closets and aid Wesleyannes to "dress to impress." Hats, scarves, earrings, skirts, heels, Tom's, sneakers, All-stars, Vans, and designer clothing are among the most-worn items on campus.
Did You Know?
Each year, Wesleyan holds two coed dances: the Homecoming dance and Spring Social. The Homecoming dance is held in November and welcomes back the graduates of the previous spring semester. Spring Social is usually held in April and allows students to have a little fun before finals.
