Overall Experience: It's awesome to study in Wesleyan. Professors are pretty nice and like to help students to solve the problem! Talking with your advisor! They are very important! The only bad things is the transportation. Having the driver license and car before you come here!

3 College Student

Overall Experience: I had to wait until 3 weeks before school started to find out if I was accepted. By then, I did not have much options for the classes I could take. I also had to have my transcript sent twice because the conditions in which they had to receive it weren't very clear, which also means I had to pay for it twice.

3 College Student

Athletics: I understand we have athletics and we get emails to come out and support them at events but there isn't any talk of games around campus. No one really talks about whether we win or lose and I don't really even know who plays or doesn't play.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: Depending on the person their nightlife could be partying, studying, or sleeping.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: Controlled environment that keeps the students safe.

Diversity: Acceptance of life goes throughout the school. There are lectures and events to better help understand about sexuality, religion, diversity, economic background, traditions. These make the school fun and informative.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: There is not any pressure to take up drugs and visually you don't see who or when someone is taking any.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The small class sizes and different courses to chose from makes things fun and close.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The alumni network might need some updating, but by talking to upperclassman one can find out about the newest alumni.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Love that the living arrangements are on campus.

4 College Junior

3 College Junior

Athletics: We know when they are happening on campus, most of the time. The school focuses more on the academics.

There is nothing more incredible than being surrounded by intelligent women from all over the world and feeling like you are all one, giant family. The sisterhood at Wesleyan College is unique to the women that make up our community and creates a bond that lasts a lifetime. Regardless of how involved some women are in sisterhood activities, at the end of the day, there is a sense of unity that is felt among students, as well as the alumnae. Wesleyan’s greatest asset is the student body because each individual possesses a special character that embodies the school’s ideals. Every peer has strong aspirations and an even greater appetite for success. It is this quality that allows professors to challenge students on an intellectual and personal level. Over a four-year period, Wesleyannes (Wesleyan students) cover academic material from all areas of study and simultaneously surpass the standards of their own degree. Although some programs are better structured in preparing students for certain careers over others, the faculty and staff work hard to ensure that all students will be highly successful in their field of work.

While a few aspects are disappointing, many students cannot imagine being anywhere else. Everything about the school has the students' best interests in mind, and the faculty and staff make an impact on your experience. Wesleyannes take full advantage of internship programs, networking opportunities, and interdisciplinary research where they can acquire skills necessary to excel in graduate school and their career. The community seems out of place in Macon, but that is because the Wesleyan College experience is unlike any other.
