Overall Experience: Bad school in terms of career development. Professors do not care at all about students' career outlook

2 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Most housing is very close to classes but are not very spacious. A very small amount of thing are actually allowed in your room (maybe a coffee maker, kettle, and some other stuff) and cleanliness is an issue mostly left for the students to deal with. For most dorms, there is only one kitchen with one fridge and stove for the whole building to share. You don't feel like you get the most out of your money especially since you have to stay on campus.

2 College Sophomore

Athletics: We might have good teams but the student body doesn't care. It's hard to get any participation from the student body.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It's overall an average college

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Would love to continue my education, and an undergraduate degree from Wesleyan College will help me do so!

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The first year seminar stresses health and safety very strongly.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Wesleyan is a very old school with not many new amenities, but I feel the learning experience outweighs the housing situations.

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Wesleyan has sisterhood and it is very well liked by the student body!

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Support for sports is somewhat low, but there are various students who attend sporting events and they enjoy it very much.

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Wesleyan doesnt have a greek life. One of the only cons about the school.

3 College Junior

Athletics: I dont really pay attention to the atheletic department.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: The campus is poorly lit, its quite annoying having an evening class and not wanting to wait 15 minutes for campus police to arrive so I just walk across campus alone.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have not used the career centers.

2 College Junior

Campus Housing: The common areas are horrible and need to be redone. I am sure they have not furnished since the 1940's! And to my surprise, there is not a student center!!!!!!

1 College Junior

Greek Life: Unfortunately, Wesleyan does not allow Greek Life on campus.

2 College Junior

Athletics: I wish the athletic department offered more free classes such as zumba to students, I also wish they had a basketball court for public use.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love Wesleyan and sisterhood. I truly believe that Wesleyan wants all women that enter their college to be successful!

4 College Sophomore

4 College Sophomore

Academics: It is awesome college for studying and research, and you can find intelligent, hardworking, friendly, and unique women

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Class are small and free. You can talk with your professors. Art and social science class are great, but science class are not enough.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Social Science, Business, Art, and Theater. Most students are likely to go to graduate school after.

There is nothing more incredible than being surrounded by intelligent women from all over the world and feeling like you are all one, giant family. The sisterhood at Wesleyan College is unique to the women that make up our community and creates a bond that lasts a lifetime. Regardless of how involved some women are in sisterhood activities, at the end of the day, there is a sense of unity that is felt among students, as well as the alumnae. Wesleyan’s greatest asset is the student body because each individual possesses a special character that embodies the school’s ideals. Every peer has strong aspirations and an even greater appetite for success. It is this quality that allows professors to challenge students on an intellectual and personal level. Over a four-year period, Wesleyannes (Wesleyan students) cover academic material from all areas of study and simultaneously surpass the standards of their own degree. Although some programs are better structured in preparing students for certain careers over others, the faculty and staff work hard to ensure that all students will be highly successful in their field of work.

While a few aspects are disappointing, many students cannot imagine being anywhere else. Everything about the school has the students' best interests in mind, and the faculty and staff make an impact on your experience. Wesleyannes take full advantage of internship programs, networking opportunities, and interdisciplinary research where they can acquire skills necessary to excel in graduate school and their career. The community seems out of place in Macon, but that is because the Wesleyan College experience is unlike any other.
