Okay, so I technically haven't even started at Wesleyan yet--I just wanted to enter to win a scholarship. However, the school and all its inhabitants are super friendly and happy! It's a great atmosphere with a lot of wonderful perks; like, all the special attention they give with presents (flowers, thumb drive, buttons, book bag, christmas ornament), they have many days where the school provides motivating activities, and a lot of things are free (laundry, parking, printing). They gave me a full tuition scholarship, which was just really great because my parents are not rich in the least. Wesleyan is a small, cozy, inviting place that appears to be the perfect place to learn.

The academics at my school are stimulating, fun and exciting. The professors enjoy teaching and help students grasp the subject matter. Depending on what field you go into, the workload is not too heavy which gives you ample time to explore in school extra-curricular activities. Registration process is not competitive, just apply and see what happens! I received an e-mail from Wesleyan College and just applied online and before I knew it, I was packing my luggage and heading to Macon, Georgia! I had no idea what I wanted to study, but as soon as I was on campus, I immersed myself with on campus activities and took advantage of the classes that were offered. What makes Wesleyan unique is the opportunity to study what you want and if they don't have a major you're interested in, you can create one! I am a double major studying Music and Economics with an undeclared double minor in Finance and Accounting. The curriculum is wonderful, the professors are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere of the school is rigorous, challenging, but fun, and the work load is light.
