4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: In my experience, I have had very little negative interactions on campus. I know that there are several places on campus set up in case of emergency, and the overall atmosphere of campus implies safety.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Webster Groves is a very safe, family friendly neighborhood. This is not your typical "college town" so I have never felt unsafe on Webster's campus.

Health & Safety: Webster university is very safe. There is hardly any crime on campus. I feel very safe when I'm on campus. Webster stays well lit all night. Also with the public safety officers that patrol the campus all night makes me feel a lot safe

Campus safety has never been considered a problem, nor a nuisance, and is usually handled thoroughly and effectively. During the daytime, Public Safety officers can be seen riding about in their go-karts or bicycles to patrol the parking lots or surrounding streets within the campus. The Webster Groves Police also have a tendency to be seen around the campus, roaming in and out of the streets.

At night, the majority of campus is lit up for added safety, especially around Emerson Library and Webster Hall. Security lights light up every parking lot, and Public Safety is always a phone call away. They are there 24/7, and you can contact them anytime through their phone number, extension number, or through one of the many emergency phones found in campus parking lots. Whether it is an escort ride to your car or an actual emergency, Public Safety takes every call into consideration. They are also trained to provide first aid care, and are the first responders to any health emergency that a student may have. In regards to the on-campus physicians, most students go through them without having to go to an off-campus site, unless the situation is too serious for the campus physicians to treat.
