1 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I lived in the dorms, but I have heard that good housing is difficult to find off campus.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: Weber tries. I really enjoyed all of the things that we're going on in the Student Union Building

Off-Campus Dining: There are quite a few restaurants off campus. I enjoyed many of them and they had decent prices. I wish we had better student discounts though... I never got more than a few cents off.

3 College Freshman

Administration: I lived in the dorms. It didn't appear that they were willing to stop misconduct when it occurred. There were often very loud residents who abused drugs and alcohol.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: Weber does not give out enough academic scholarships. I have a 4.0 as a full-time student in difficult classes, but still only receive $750 a semester. There is very little motivation to achieve excellence at this school as a result.

Campus Food: The food is crazy expensive and often unhealthy.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The value of the dorms is terrible. The cost is insane. The food in the dorms is also overpriced and very unhealthy. The administration at the school is fantastic!

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: It depends where you're living. Every place near Weber State is ghetto, and is a rip-off. South Ogden is a much better place to live, and is cheaper. It's only 10 minutes away from campus, and is worth the drive.

Party Scene: Weber State doesn't have a party scene. It's not a huge deal to me because I'm not really into that, but it'd be nice every now and then. It'd help to create a more social environment on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There's quite a bit of variety among the food outlets off campus. The food is also good. It's much healthier, cheaper, and tastier than any food on campus

Administration: Administration is okay on campus. They're usually not too crazy. But there are a few things they're really big on. They didn't allow students to be in different buildings in the dorms than their designated building. This is ridiculous because it creates such a lack of socializing on campus. Many of the people in my building didn't care to talk.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I haven't had any problems with FAFSA or scholarships. There's sometimes a lag in the system getting the money to me, but other than that it's good. It's easy to fill out the FAFSA application, and most of the employees will answer any questions you have.

Campus Food: The food on campus is awful. It's greasy, cold, and extremely unhealthy. Even when they try to be healthy, it's way too expensive and not good. Something with a better selection of fruit, vegetables, protein bars, REAL sandwiches, and good salads would be a better option. I usually just leave campus and go to the Great Harvest nearby.

Campus Housing: Living in the dorms was an okay experience. It got the job done, but I didn't love my time there. The social environment isn't great. You're not allowed to be in any of the other five buildings except for your own. Many of the students are foreigners, and many of them stick to their friends. The cost was way too expensive for what you get. The rooms are tiny. The kitchen is basic, and gets dirty easily. The distance from campus isn't that convenient. If you decide to move, you're stuck there until school is out. I'd recommend just renting an apartment nearby for half the price and better amenities.

Off-Campus Housing: If you like ghetto style living

1 College Junior

Party Scene: Its not a Party college, its a Mormon College, Mormons don't know what partying means. But they know about making babies.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Ther is a lot of fast food places like: The Corner Bakery, Carls Jr., Taco Bell, Burger King and a few others like that

2 College Junior

Scholarships: I went over credit hours and made me get a course schedule and gave me a run around and ended up with no more financial aide to finish my Bachelors degree. There are people on campus that are going to get their 2 nd bachelors, and now cannot get my first one.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: Its average, not great food, and most of the time its cold especially the coffee

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: I haven't eaten very many places but there are a couple different options but every mood.

3 College Junior

Administration: I really only had contact with my departments administration. Some were excellent and new what was going on, a few were no aware of what the students were doing or needed. When approached they all seem to be willing to get what the student needed at that time

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I never received the help needed to determine needs. The financial councelors that I met with did not seem to want to give information. If I didn't ask they didn't give information. Students don't always know the questions to ask. As an older student I am helping my children make the better financial decisions.

Off-Campus Housing: Get to live were ever I want and do what ever I want when I want. It's awesome.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Has a lot of options. It's great.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: It takes a while and sometimes people end up not getting any.
