Overall Experience: Once you get done with the run around with Financial aid, Registration, and Admissions it is overall a great school. It is a little frustrating when you get told to go to Admissions when it is a Registration problem. But Registration office is great at helping figuring out what needs to be done.

Overall Experience: This is a really good school there are a couple things that could definitely be better about it. The local area is getting better which makes the atmosphere a lot better, they're finally changing the math program and the greek life could be better ( I am in a sorority but the city laws kind of restrict us from doing some of the funner things)

Overall Experience: I've been here for a year and a semester already and all the professors are GREAT! Not one complaint. I think the campus is beautiful and the people are friendly.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Pretty basic, you have fun if you attend and join something.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I was already taking concurrent enrollment during high school so I can get college credit. I love Weber State University, so far its been treating me well. It is very unique with all the different clubs and classes that they offer there. I would choose that school to go to if I didn't end up transferring later on.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: There is a lot to be desired. The program I am in is a hot mess. They can't keep anything straight and keep changing everything on us. I don't feel ready to be a nurse.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Really fun and getting the college experience. Classes are super fun and the teachers will work with you.

Overall Experience: This school is definitely not amazing by any means, but it is close to where I live and work, which helps with the commute and being able to work more hours. It is also pretty cheap compared to a lot of other universities. It's a very small campus. If I were to start over on school, and I could afford to pay for tuition, I personally would attend the University of Utah over Weber State University.

Overall Experience: a lot of diversity makes it unique

Overall Experience: My freshman year, kind of sucked. Due to I wasn't social. I just talked to people I went to high school with. Sophomore year, I expanded my social life, and now I love school. Yes, the learning part is the same. But it is a lot exciting/ fun when you have a social life.

Overall Experience: I love Weber State! Because Weber State started as a community school, the small classes help each student (if they are willing) to have a personal relationship with their professors, making sure that they will succeed. Getting involved on campus is also one of the greatest parts, there are so many possibilities in addition to scholarships that come with it.

Weber truly wants their students to succeed, and it is visible through advisers, teachers, and mentors. I owe so much to them for everything they are helping me become.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have enjoyed small class sizes and learning new material from competent professors.

Overall Experience: Many people aren't too fond of Weber State University in this area. However, I would have to disagree because WSU has the best nursing program in the state and ranks in the top nationally. I've created many wonderful memories so far! I think they really try to keep their students involved. Since it is more of a commuter college, not many do get involved unfortunately. Some may think that it's size is a handicap, but I feel like it's beneficial to the students and professors because of the smaller class sizes.

Overall Experience: There are some phenomenal professors, which I'm sure is true for any school. Weber State DOES have a great Honors program that offers around 8 honors courses each semester, designed and taught by Weber State professors on very narrow subjects. The courses (and therefore the professors) change each semester. There are several professors that usually teach every semester. These have been by far my favorite classes, and are always taught by the "Cream of the Crop" at Weber State.

However, for those students seeking a challenge, small class sizes, the dorm experience, Greek life, or the "college experience" most high-achieving school seniors are craving and ready to have, there could be fewer WORSE places than Weber State. I lived in the dorms my first year, and an apartment my second year. I am going into my third year. There is only one set of dorms on campus. They were not near full capacity, with many empty rooms, mostly athletes who were there because of scholarship money. Not very many mainstream kids. There is NO Greek life, or fraternity/sorority life whatsoever. The part of Ogden that Weber is in is pretty run-down, with pretty terrible roads (aside from Harrison and Washington), large portions of Ogden are neighborhoods where the majority of people live well below the poverty line. Often ESL factory workers. Harrison Blvd is not a pretty street to drive. Many old businesses. By far the nicest grocery store nearby is 5-miles via a 45mph road, and is a 24-hour Walmart Neighborhood Market. All the rest look like, on both the inside and outside, they were built in the 80s. Notwithstanding, the worst thing by far, about Weber State University, is that it is largely a commuter school, with a 100% acceptance rate, and where over 50% of the student population are non-traditional students (over age 25, married, employed, parents, etc.). Campus is a ghost town after 1pm every day, and is dead on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Overall Experience: The school is perfect for my needs right now in my life.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Weber State University is great! They had activities quite often that were all creative and super fun. The teachers there were awesome and very willing to work with students situations. I loved the colors of the school and there was plenty of room to study, relax, and eat.

Off-Campus Housing: I lived in the dorms, but I have heard that good housing is difficult to find off campus.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: Weber tries. I really enjoyed all of the things that we're going on in the Student Union Building

Off-Campus Dining: There are quite a few restaurants off campus. I enjoyed many of them and they had decent prices. I wish we had better student discounts though... I never got more than a few cents off.

Administration: I lived in the dorms. It didn't appear that they were willing to stop misconduct when it occurred. There were often very loud residents who abused drugs and alcohol.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: Weber does not give out enough academic scholarships. I have a 4.0 as a full-time student in difficult classes, but still only receive $750 a semester. There is very little motivation to achieve excellence at this school as a result.

Campus Food: The food is crazy expensive and often unhealthy.

Campus Housing: The value of the dorms is terrible. The cost is insane. The food in the dorms is also overpriced and very unhealthy. The administration at the school is fantastic!

Off-Campus Housing: It depends where you're living. Every place near Weber State is ghetto, and is a rip-off. South Ogden is a much better place to live, and is cheaper. It's only 10 minutes away from campus, and is worth the drive.
