Athletics: Here's the deal. Friday going into Saturday everyone and their mother's goes home for the weekend. When Saturday rolls around and the football team runs on the field, you'll find the outside community, and like a handful of students, and it's always the same students. I cover the sports for campus radio, and from what we see in the student sections, it is lackluster at best. Yet the school has adopted the attitude that athletics should be a central focus of the campus, despite poor attendance from the student body. As far as the actual athletics are concerned, we have a great rugby and women's basketball team. Football is having a rough stretch, men's basketball is in a rebuilding stage, baseball has struggled not to mention that they all sit at the same table in the cafeteria and act obnoxious and loud. Rec center's pretty decent, but of course the athletes get the private workout rooms.

Athletics: Rugby is very big at college. As an intramural sport it is very popular, more so than any other sport. I would say varsity sports does not get as big of a crowd and support as other schools. I have personally heard many negative things about our football team and coach. School spirit could be better. Coming from highschool to college, the spirit and excitement is much lower.
