Reviewing My Past Two Years With WCCCD – The experience at Wayne County Community College District has been an eye opening experience that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. My Instructor's were great, informing and personal. The campus was warm and comfortable for our classroom settings, the computer lab and even in the food court. One would be surprised to see this atmosphere in an urban Community college but it does exist.
What I wasn't so impressed with was the lack of current technology accessible to the student. Our campus should be using Macs, scanners and more software in classes that are used in the current workforce environment. In this economic crisis students should be able to leave this Institution and be able adapt in any workplace pertaining to his/her degree.
Now that's real question are we being given what we need to address this new force? I'll get back to you on that!

My Personal College Experience – My personal experience at Wayne Community has been wonderful! There are always going to be those little obstacles and misunderstandings, but I am making the best of everything! I was accepted into the dental hygiene program at Wayne Community College beginning in Fall 2011, and I decided to take anatomy at Mount Olive College. All I had to do was fill out a paper that took less than five minutes to finish. I got the paper back the next day, and then I signed up for anatomy at Mount Olive. It was simple to get the letter of permission. Academic Skills has helped me a lot this semester with chemisty, and I have a 94.30 in the class!

I always receive e-mails telling me what is going on at school. However, it never tells me any details about the activity. It's like saying, "Hey, come to this meeting! No, we're not going to tell you what's happening at it." I'm a busy person, but if I was looking to waste time, it might would work. Also, we have Student Government Association (SGA), but I'm not sure they do anything. Wait, I lie. They are favored more by the teachers. Other than that, I'm not sure they do anything at all.
