3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I don't see alcohol or drugs on campus.

5 College Senior

Drug Safety: I have attended this school for three years and have not heard a single event that involves drugs (or alcohol for that matter). When I attended previous schools I knew of several events that involved drugs and alcohol so it is nice not to not currently be exposed to this.

Drug Safety: The drug and alcohol scene is barely visible around campus. Since the school is a Baptist university their main focus here is to promote a healthy lifestyle and worship God. The community and people from campus are very helpful, but as like any other place if you are of age to drink you may do so outside of campus.

Drug Safety: This is a drug free school and I enjoy it, the people are very kind and friendly to all.

Drug Safety: Wayland has extremely strict rules about drugs and alcohol, so the availability is very very low. However, it's not unheard of for a few big parties a year to have some alcohol- it IS a college after all! The negative effects of being caught with alcohol or, even worse, the drug dogs catching you on one of their random searches in the dorms far outweigh the desire to get them. Peer pressure isn't a huge issue as most students are here to learn and not to party, but the bottom line is that the friends that you make can determine your choices so, while Wayland doesn't have a lot of this type of activity going on, such things still do happen rules or not.
