4 College Senior

Diversity: It's a mixture of ethnic & religious backgrounds.

5 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: We have all types of students on campus. We have international students, military and civilian students. Some of the students receive a GI bill, while others have to take out student loans in order to pay for school. We have students from Norway, Canada, Mexico, and India. We have both democratic and republican students who have many debates during class regarding their affiliation. We are a Baptist school but we have all types of religions (Hindu, Jewish, Protestant, Christian). We have many students who are married or have partners.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: Campus is actually very diverse, and even though it is a private Christian college they do not discriminate because of religion.

5 College Student

Diversity: Everyone was very kind and did not discriminate. The students and teachers were also very professional and respectful in regards to religious differences

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There are many different races, religions, economic backgrounds, and political beliefs at Wayland Baptist University. Most of the students here, however, disregard the differences that exist between one another and actually get along in a great way. There are many international or foreign students that join our campus each year, but they are always welcomed by students, faculty, and staff members. The diversity is quite large for us being a small campus, but the atmosphere here in regards to acceptance is awesome!
