4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The Sugar Grove campus is close enough to where I live

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Affordable. Some professors are great, some are terrible. At the end of the day, whether you'll learn something or not depends only on you.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The school as a whole is good. Faculty and staff really are there for you when you need them. Just go in with a game plan and if not they will be there to assist you.

Overall Experience: Overall, I think Waubonsee is a very good community college. Like any school, there's always certain aspects it can improve on, but generally speaking it is very good. The instructors and advisors that I have personally dealt with are all very helpful, and very understanding to student situations. The Sugar Grove campus is fairly nice and it's a nice area to be in. there are plenty of places to kill time in between classes too, which helps a lot.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: It wasn't my first choice school but the campus is beautiful and my classes have been challenging for the most part. I am glad that I am saving money by going to Community College rather than being in debt.

Campus Resources: The program I am involved in is very supportive of their students. Each teacher tries there hardest to help their students understand the course and material. I have not met an unfriendly person yet, but it could be my area of study.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: People are not the most friendly. I try to be talkative and interactive with other students but I only made one good friend while attending my school. People are there to attend class and get on with life.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I got my general education courses out of the way.

2 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: At first, I thought the class registration process was really confusing but after doing it 5 semesters I really mastered it. However, I had to do it all on my own and really had no help from councelors.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: There were many different professors for each class as well as various times/dates to take the classes so that was great!

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The overall experience was okay. I saved a lot of money but I also lost the experience of going to a 4 year school.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Some professors were amazing and I really felt a great connection with. However, others were terrible and I could not stand one bit. It was always hot or cold but never right in between.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It felt like people were just there to get certain classes out of the way and not to move forward in their education.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Most of the time it was difficult to contact other classmates. This made it really hard to do group projects when one or more students never contribute.

2 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I did not receive any financial aid whatsoever. My family made the smallest amount higher than what financial aid would consider. I paid my tuition straight from my own pocket.

2 College Sophomore

Career Services: I was never informed on any post-grad services from my school.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The athletic centers are nice, however, if you want to use the fitness center you have to pay for a membership or a class. The student center is right in the middle of the campus and easy to get to.

2 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Definitely taking all night classes from now on.

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: I thought this school was going to be a lot better but should've known from past graduates, friends, Internet, etc. That it's not what their ads say.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Take all late evening classes. Students care more about the class and their work. Teachers are nicer and class sizes are WAY smaller

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Need better career center people and resources. Could use more community internships or projects.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: Wish I would've never taken online courses. Evening classes are the way to go

4 College Junior

Student Body: Very diverse but also very secluded. Very little interaction between students. Mostly students from the Aurora high schools.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: They don't care if you're doing well or not they just want your money and will send you multiple bills. They often overcharge from your financial aid account.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm majoring in education and it's very split. Some professors are amazing and some are completely useless.
