3 College Junior

Local Area: My school is in an isolated rural town. There is another University 8 miles away but we never interact with them. There are rolling wheat fields around and thats about it. Its a small town with a big college.

5 College Freshman

Local Area: Pullman is a one in a million town. The sights are absolutely breath taking! The community is extremely supportive of the college and you can always hear people shout, "GO COUGS!"

5 College Freshman

Local Area: Although it is a small town and there isn't that much to do, that is an advantage for being a student at the school. It is a complete college town, with over 80% of the town population being students. It makes it a really fun environment to live in because you get so close with your fellow Cougs. Locals love the students because we do our best to give back to the community and support local businesses. After coming to school here I couldn't imagine going to a school in a big city, even though I am from Portland myself. There is something truly special about being in a college town environment and being the center and livelihood of the whole town.

4 College Junior

Local Area: Because I attend Washington State University through their Global Campus, I do not know much about the main campus in Pullman.

4 College Freshman

Local Area: In the Pullman area we are smack dab in the middle of the Palouse where there are nothing but farm lands around, however with all the the campus offers it is very hard to be a bored cougar! The community is one of those that looks after one another and doesn't let one another fail at something.
