4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I personally feel very safe on campus, of course at night time it's a little scary but, it's scary any where at night. The police drive around every day and I haven't heard of any big safety issues on campus, the police and students both are very efficient at keeping the campus safe.

Health & Safety: Multiple times through the orientation and week of welcome, we see Green Dot presentations that teach us about sexual violence and how to combat it or assist if ever in such a situation. I generally feel safe walking around campus, even at night.

Health & Safety: There is a program called green dot, where they give seminars and help us understand how much it means to stand up against acts of violence.

Health & Safety: WSU is a very safe campus, but I think lately we've been highlighting incidents a lot which is both good and bad. Good because it shows that WSU is very proactive about spreading awareness and striving for more safety measures, but bad because other people might assume we're not that safe at all. But I feel confident in walking alone on campus, and that if something were to happen that I can access the right resources to help me. There are proactive students and programs here at WSU that are making this conversation stay relevant all the time.
