Greek Life

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Greeks are seen as annoying and snobby. If you don't join Greek life there are not many options for you in terms or parties. Greeks aren't known for their positive qualities here.

Greek Life: Greek life here is great! Personally, I have become friends with several Greek people and don't see them as any different than me. However, around campus, people think of Greek members as fake, snobby brats. We could definitely use some mingling between Greek and Non-Greek.

Greek Life: The Greek community is very involved with service and making the community better, as well as being accepting of all students and other chapters. People not in the Greek community are often full of misguided stereotypical ideas of the Greek community, but once they actually meet people who are part of a chapter, their minds are usually changed and they are more understanding of what being Greek is all about--finding your home away from home, and being supported and encouraged to make the most positive impact you can on the community. The houses are very nice on campus for the Greek community, but many Greeks live in the dormitories or in separate housing or apartments as well.

Greek Life: Greek life is not for me.

Greek Life: We have a strong Greek community at WSU. Greeks and Non-Greeks get along really well also. It is easy to live in the Greek housing if that is what you want to do. Greeks and Non-Greeks are all Cougs and we are one big family.
