Every interaction I have had at Washington State University from personal visits, the Alive Orientation, the Experience WSU, and my parents own stories, has made me feel like I have been a Coug all my life. The people in Pullman are so supportive of the school and all the students are so friendly. It's like Washington State University is my second home because all the students who attend this school are like a family and a tight nit community. Even though Washington State University is in the middle of a wheat field at least I know I am having the best time of my life and getting the best education. I am so excited to officially be apart of the Coug family, but they have always been apart of my life and always will be. GO COUGS!

Something for Everyone! Washington State's student union, also known as the CUB, has multiple restaurants and coffee shops, including Starbucks, a bookstore, make up counter, study areas, banks, video game and television access, and multiple student offices. This center is frequented by thousands of students everyday for a number of reasons. It is located at the center of campus, so it is easily accessible between classes.
Outdoors, there are many practice fields, large green spaces, a ropes course, various sports courts, and many hidden pathways. Every weekend there is something new to try.
Lastly, there is the recreational center. All students have access to this center, and with this access they are able to swim, run on the track, use any of the 100 weight machines, attend classes, receive a massage, or higher a personal trainer. This is an excellent place for all students to relieve their stress with their friends in a healthy way.

The varsity sports at WSU are a big part of the community in that it brings out students, faculty, and locals of Pullman together. The school spirit is outstanding! Everyone goes to the games together, dresses up to the maximum in Cougar gear, and we cheer each other on all game long. Also, the athletic facilities and intramural sports on campus are very much alive and awesome. Our Recreation facility is huge and extremely nice - there is something to do for everyone. You could kick box, run on the indoor track, weight lift, swim, and even play ping pong! We have almost every sport in our intramural programs, and if you want to make your own new team, you can! Our school is also one of the only large universities that allows non-school athletes to play on our official fields, such as the Martin Stadium football field. The Washington State University athletics are by far one of the greatest I have seen as a sports player and fan myself!
