Health & Safety: You're safe. Virtually no crime.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Waldorf runs off of athletes. good team spirit between teams. athletic facilities are not the best but Waldorf students get a free Y membership.

5 College Senior

Administration: You can go four years here without any problems as long as you don't go out of your way to break the rules.

3 College Senior

Local Area: Its 30+ minutes to most big stores like Walmart but the social atmosphere is entertaining.

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Most off campus options are super cheep. for the size of campus the availability of options is great. Forest City is small enough that you're always close to campus. For the rent costs landlords do a good job, most work well with you.

Campus Housing: On campus Breen or Senior Apts are the nicest but J and L has a great social atmosphere. Most on campus housing is walking distance to all campus buildings.

2 College Freshman

Local Area: My town is better and it's smaller...

1 College Freshman

Campus Food: Food isn't of very good quality.

5 College Freshman

Administration: The people here are super friendly

Greek Life: We do not have a Greek Life on our campus.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: I feel extremely safe on campus. There are hardly any issues with health or safety other than the occasional theft. Sexual assault does happen once in a while, but it is not very frequent at all. The campus works well to keep everything safe, keep students informed, and support them with any issues.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: There are some small town restaurants, and restaurants in the neighboring towns as well. Small town basically means a smaller variety; however, there are still good options.

College Senior

Greek Life: We don't have Greek Life. The only comparison I can make is between athletics and fine arts--both groups get along well with each other or are indifferent. There really isn't conflict between the groups.

4 College Senior

Majors: I am so pleased with majors at Waldorf. As a student, you are encouraged and assisted throughout all your years here. Teachers help you get the most out of your studies. I was able to double major with hard work, but with ease. The admission process is easy and not very strict; the better your grades and test scores, the better your academic scholarships.

4 College Senior

Athletics: Athletics are awesome at Waldorf. More than half of the student body is involved, I would say about 80%. Everyone comes out and supports each other at athletic events; there is good school spirit, even for a small school. The facilities could still be improved, but we just got a brand new track and turf fields for softball, baseball, and football, so I think facilities will only increase and become better in the future.

4 College Senior

Guys & Girls: There is a good ratio of girls to guys; in the past there have been more male students than female students but this has fixed itself in the past few years. There is a variety of interests, hobbies, looks, and social lives of students. I think this adds to the diversity and fun of campus. There isn't one set type of look that is 'in' or 'popular'. Popularity doesn't really exist--everyone is friends with one another, seriously.

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: Because Waldorf is in a small town, living on campus is like living with a community of friends. The best place to live is Breen Hall--it's new and laid out very nicely. Having a Theme House is also a ton of fun, you're living almost on your own with laundry, electricity, and a kitchen for free. The Senior Apartments are the same idea, but even better because they are focused on upperclassmen. Campus living is very social and fun.

3 College Senior

Party Scene: Waldorf is a smaller school; it isn't a party school, but there's still plenty to do and places to have fun on and off campus. Drinking is off campus, because the school is a dry campus. However, Waldorf is a typical college--drinking and partying definitely exist.

3 College Senior

Administration: Waldorf administration knows that students are college students--they are going to drink and be normal college students--they aren't extremely strict. However, they want students to be safe. That's their number one focus, so whatever consequences are in enforced are for safety.

Campus Quality: Waldorf College is amazing. Sure, it's a small school, but there is so much going on! Student Life is huge at Waldorf--there's activities almost every night of the week and at least one or two big events per weekend: comedians, visiting writers, school dances, campus ministry events, athletic and fine arts events, etc. Athletics and Fine Arts are big at Waldorf as well. About 90% are involved in some type of extracurricular activity. Faculty and staff are amazing--always available, supportive, and knowledgeable. The campus is friendly, and very home-feeling. There are so many opportunities to learn grow, make friends, and have fun. Campus diversity is also huge--students from different countries, states, and areas. I love my experiences here!
