Online Courses: I really enjoy the online courses. If a student is able to focus and devote enough time to the courses, they learn just as much as they would in the classroom. The workload is just as much as it would be in a traditional classroom. Discussion boards allow for peer-to-peer and professor-to-student interaction.

Campus Resources: This school is online; however, there are still student resources such as an online library and online writing lab, which are both excellent.

Academic Flexibility: I had no trouble with transferring credits. The classes are designed for the student to be able to do them at a time that is good for them. The curriculum for the Bachelor's of Science in Nursing is one of the best that I have come across that is completely online for those who are already an RN. I absolutely love this school.

Overall Experience: My overall experience has been very favorable and most teachers are willing to work with you if you talk to them.

Academic Flexibility: Only had 1 academic advisor that I couldn't work with and that was because she tried to talk down to you, other than that they have answered my questions and advised me of what I needed to do.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Workload is excellent, however the major assessments remain a challenge in understanding what they want and having enough time to get them done.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Instructors could interact a little more than just during discussions. Providing a transcript of the media resources would be a great option.

5 College Freshman

Campus Quality: Walden offers forums for all students to interact with one another.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: They are very accessible if needed.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Walden provides a lot of resources for its students.

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: One of the cheapest programs.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: Walden was the first university that I attended that had forums for sororities, business, schools, etc. They truly keep up informed with emails and announcements.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: For me, online courses have provided me with the flexibility needed to support my family and attend school. You have to be really disciplined because if not you will not be motivated to complete the assignments. I have attended a few other online universities and their workload is much greater than Walden. I was very impressed with those Professors that called to introduce themselves prior to the start of class. That was a bonus that I didn't get at the other universities.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall, it's been great. I've had a few instructors that I don't ever want to have again, but that's to be expected at any university. I am very satisfied with the amount of knowledge and experience I've gained at Walden.

Academic Flexibility: One of the attractions of Walden for me was the flexibility of the online/residency format. I am very busy working all the time to try to make ends meet, and it's helped to be able to log into the classroom discussions and submit assignments.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: For the most part, I like the online format, because I work so much. It offers flexibility and a challenge. I do miss the in-class interaction that I had at the undergraduate and masters level programs. However, the program requires us to attend residencies, and offers other in-person courses as well, such as writing retreats. I will take advantage of these this year, so I can sharpen and accelerate my writing.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: We very seldom have network issues, and they let us know when it will be down for maintenance. I've only had one experience where I was trying to submit a paper, and it was down.
