Student Body: I can only describe the students I encounter in my online courses. They are knowledgeable of the subject and provide great insights to the topic at hand.

Academic Flexibility: My local university had general education requirements that focused on benefiting students that planned to pursue a degree at the university. Walden accepted most of my core classes except for the classes that involved studies related to the island I live in. Overall, I feel the amount of credits transferred were fair.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process was not hard to work with. I submitted all requested forms before the application deadline to avoid any discrepancies and if they did arise would have time to fix it prior to my course start date. Tuition costs more than my local university but is less than most dependable online universities. I feel as if I'm getting my money's worth and a great education.

Overall Experience: my initial advisor was great, she answered emails and helped me through the new student process and was there even a few weeks after classes began to help me if I needed any and to see how my classes were going thus far.

Online Courses: some professors did not interact, while others did weekly to engage discussion. Some professors were thorough in their grading, while others gave a grade and no feed back

Academic Experience: a number of concentrations to choose from

Academic Experience: some professors are tougher than others, but when individuals are not doing something correctly their guidance needs to be taken seriously

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: classes were automatically assigned to me, books automatically sent, student loan money automatically applied

Student Body: It is sad when you are taking online classes and your classmates do the bare minimum to get by. Also, many of them cannot write - makes me wonder how they have gotten as far as they have in their studies.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I wish there were more options such as grants for graduate programs. It seems like undergraduates get the grants and in most cases these individuals to not stay in or maintain grades. Those of us going for higher degrees should be recognized for doing so.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education is totally worth what I am paying. The financial aid office is always there in case of need. Being honest is always the best way for getting financial aid. Strong focus on leadership and social entrepreneurship activities or volunteerism are an asset.
