Academic Experience: Most of the students are working adults, like me. So the flexibility in online classes is positive. However, as a for-profit school, there is a stigma attached to it, even though the instructors are practicing counselors and psychologists in my field.

Overall Experience: The best part about Walden as a grad school are the Residencies. Now, these aren't Residencies in the typical sense so much as they are week-long conferences and intensive sessions.

Academic Experience: My program, Child Development with a special in Health And Wellness, is a study course outlined to help promote a career in social and public help. I would love to Advocate, or possibly become a social worker in my area of residence.

Online Courses: My experience with registering was great. I had an advisor assist me during the entire process. I also have enjoyed my classmates, as well as my professor. The course workload is sufficient for the course, and I have learned how to manage my time wisely to complete assignments. I interact with my classmates via webinar on my school website weekly. The interaction is great because I get to view the information from a different perspective.

Overall Experience: My current professor has been great with responding to post, and presenting good information. The class size is fairly small because it's online versus in a building setting. I like the style of teaching the professor has displayed over the eight weeks, and I have retained most of the information presented.

Academic Experience: So far the class that I have taken for my major is informative. The workload is sufficient for the class that I am taking, and it requires me to manage my time better. The support is great , and you can contact your advisor for help with any issues. I also joined SHRM, that was recommended by the university, which helps human resource professionals stay connected.

Overall Experience: The school I am currently attending is Walden University ( online). My first class started 8 weeks ago, and this is my final week for this class. I have enjoyed the online experience, and it's very convenient for my schedule. I have a set schedule each week to complete assignments and to study. I recommended my cousin ,who will be starting her program this month, and she's joining the masters program for social work. I would definitely choose Walden University again to pursue my doctorate degree.
