Tuition & Financial Aid: I believe most programs are overpriced, Walden is no exception.

Academic Experience: From reviews and research I believe Walden to be a very good choice, I will not start the program until June 1, so I can not speak from actual experience.

Campus Resources: Walden University is CACREP accredited which will allow me to follow my goal as a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and they have unique specializations to keep students relevant.

Overall Experience: Overall, I would not attend this school again. It is simply not worth the money.

Academic Flexibility: Most of my credits transferred as the type there were when I took them. School was flexible, so it worked well with my life.

Overall Experience: I have answered this question repeatedly so far: I would never again attend this school and would not recommend it to anyone.

1 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Prior to graduation, I really liked Walden. Post-graduation, I wish I had gone elsewhere. A degree from them has not helped with my attempts to get into grad school. The alumni network is more interested with numbers than with actual alumni. It wasn't worth the money.

Online Courses: I really liked attending school online due to the versatility of the classroom experience. I worked full-time while attending Walden; I have two kids. The closest traditional school was an hour away. Attending would have been burdensome to my family. I am good at budgeting my time, so I was able to complete my studies with a 4.0 around my schedule. If you struggle to stay on task, this is not the school for you. Most profs responded right away to emails and were approachable after the classes were over.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office was quite helpful. They were straightforward and helped me as long as I needed it. I don't think the degree is worth the money, though, as there is no help moving on past this degree level. I should have attended a local college for less money.

Career Services: I've not had any luck getting help with post-grad info. They kind of act like I don't exist. They are too busy building the number of alumni in the network to actually help anyone.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: The information I learned is great. The workload wasn't bad. The school kind of treats you as a number, though. You don't have an academic adviser to assist you in job placement or to help you on the road to grad school. They say they do, but you can get a different person each time you call. The advisers will tell you straight up they don't help with that kind of thing. When you ask for someone to help you, they point you to alumni services. Alumni services won't help until after you've graduated. After graduation, they are so concerned with building numbers (I got 5 welcome/invitation packets in the first year after graduation), they don't have time to help you move to the next step.

Academic Experience: There was a large variety of classes from which I could choose. Registration was a breeze. Most of the professors were fantastic, but there was a bad one every once in a while. The workload was not overbearing. Special study options and programs were non-existent, though.

4 College Junior

Career Services: They have a prorgram for career services.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The school is out of state in Missouri, I currently live in CA so knowing the process of the degree holding value in other states is confusing and the college doesn't help you with that information.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility of my school has made me to manage my studies and work very well.No curriculum hassles or frustration.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Walden University has very qualified and competent professors, the courses offered are of high standard and the class size is reasonable and manageable.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: the degree of prospect is very high because the school offers quality education, and is well known world wide

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The online class is the best. My registration was only a click of a button. The most convenience in handling your workload in that its manageable because at any time you can log in and do your work; assignment, and discussion. The traditional classroom its very possible to miss a lecturer, say you are late either at work, or road jam. Online no supervision you are your own boss with your studies, and adequate resource material.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: The school represent all ethnic groups around the world, the characters of my fellow classmates, its hard to tell because our interactions is only online.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The institution offers new student 30% fee discount , also there are financial aids to Master and doctorate students only. The value of my education, yes is worthy my money.
