College Sophomore

Online Courses: i'll have some in the fall

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Not bad. I prefer to go to a classroom but when I had to fit a class in my work schedule in the summer it proved useful. Was hard to keep track of everything and the lectures weren't clear and didn't correlate with the test well. But that may have been down to my lard work load and not necessarily the class itself

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: THe workload is great and the professors are always willing to work with the students.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: Don't have to attend for simple classes just done online

Although some students have no problems taking online courses, there are still a lot of students who find this aspect of Wake Tech to be very frustrating. Most of the time, online courses rely solely on email as a means of communication. Students must have the capability to work independently and remember to check in with the online course forum daily for new assignments or due dates. Most student complaints regarding online courses are about the lack of communication and official lecture time.

On the plus side, online courses are very convenient for the distance learner. Students may find online courses to be a better alternative to class time than having to drive out to a campus.
