Virginia Western is nestled within the Roanoke Valley, surrounded by the incredibly beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Roanoke is a fairly developed city with a decent downtown club scene, and places to shop and eat are abundant. The mountains provide an endless array of activities year-round, such as hiking, swimming, and boating on Smith Mountain Lake, and camping to name a few. Virginia Western is truly what you make of it.
