3 College Junior

Athletics: I play football and run track. So the football team is a big part , specially after winning our championship . The sports bring in a lot of money for the school.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are opportunities but it all depends on the location and prices.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: its good and the best place to go is cookout , because it stays open until 4am.

4 College Junior

Party Scene: You can find a good party anywhere , but the only problem is how long until the police come and shut it down.

Administration: to strict on what we able to do. Feels like my parents are there 24/7

Scholarships: It takes forever for the school to receive the financial aid and it delays your education.

Campus Food: to many limits on when you can use your meal swipes and time limit on things being open.

5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They were very helpful, especially with my situation of my parent passing away the summer before I returned to school.

College Sophomore

Campus Food: I don't live on campus, and I prefer to cook my own meals.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I do not stay off campus nor have I had any experiences with off campus housing so I can not comment.

Off-Campus Dining: VSU's campus is about five minutes from Southpark Mall, so off-campus dining is very convenient. Also, there are plenty of fast food restaurants along the Boulevard, which is about two minutes from campus. However, I only know of one restaurant that gives student discounts.

Administration: Strictness all depends on what dorm you stay in. I know staying the honors dorm (Langston), everything was strict from visitation hours to noise violations. But in my other friends dorms, it wasn't as strict.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: I'm not much of a party person, so I don't know much about them. From what I've heard, a lot of parties that are on campus get shut down quickly. As far as parties off campus, I don't know much about them but I hear they are fun.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I did not have any trouble getting financial aid. As long as you do everything on time and talk to the right people, there shouldn't be any problems.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food wasn't that bad the first semester. But towards the end of the first semester, it wasn't as good. Now I rarely ever go to the cafe and always go to Gateway. Gateway has amazing burgers and the staff there are very friendly.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Living on campus is a great experience. You get the chance to meet and interact with people from all over the place. Staying on campus my freshman year was a great decision. I've made friends with students from places like Chicago, Boston, New York, and even met some people from LA. It was nice interacting with different people from places I have never been before.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I do not currently live off campus but I would love to.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I love the off campus options.

2 College Junior

Administration: I only say it's bad because the things that are being enforced aren't the problem.

4 College Junior

Party Scene: The social life on campus is pretty great. The do promote heavily

3 College Junior

Scholarships: The financial aid process is drawn out and unorganized.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: it is not the greatest but it could be worst.

Campus Housing: It is not the buildings it is the students but overall the campus is beautiful.

Health & Safety: Health is taken seriously but they could improve safety measures. Cop cars could be more visibly patrolling during night and early hours of morning.

2 College Junior

Greek Life: They don't add anything to campus life. They are boring and strut around on,y wither people. Very non-friendly. Interest meetings are few and far between. Unless you know someone in a chapter good luck getting in. Sororities are snobs and fraternities are walking STDs.
