3 College Sophomore

Athletics: The athletic facilities are excellent. Or at least they would be if they were open. As it is, the primary gym has been "under renovation" for nearly two years. Additionally, too much of the already over-inflated athletic budget gets shoveled onto the burning money pile that is the VMI football team, who managed to win an impressive one game last season, followed by a losing streak that lasted the rest of the year.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: The teams at VMI are not great, but it is a military school focused on commissioning officers in the military. Still the guys on the teams are mostly stand up guys/gals. They try hard, but again sports are not the main focus of VMI and it shows.

3 College Junior

Athletics: As a Senior Military School, athletics aren't that important.

Athletics: We have great athletes, but individual performance does not trump teamwork. We tend to lose a lot, but I know that in time, we will make national championship like we did before.

When we are winning, and do win, however, everyone's support is off the roof as the volume of everyone's chants are deafening.

Facilities are pretty great, and currently one of the gyms are being redone. In addition, a giant indoor facility is being built to host track meets.

Athletics: The teams themselves may not always preform the best, however, school spirit and attendance by the corps of cadets is hard to beat. The gyms are brand new and all cadets use them.
