4 College Junior

Transportation: I never had to use transportation methods since I was able to bring my own care, but the airport was only like 45 minutes away.

5 College Junior

Guys & Girls: I really liked everyone I met at VI. I got along with most of them and they are all pretty cool. The girls are fun, and there are LOTS of attractive men.

2 College Junior

Campus Food: The dining hall at VI was terrible. They served the same thing over and over again and it was usually disgusting. I would choose to eat in the Cafe and use my cobra cash rather than my meal plan which was expensive.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: I loved living on campus. I had a single room though, I couldn't imagine having to share a room with someone because they are VERY small. The closets are really big though.

4 College Junior

Administration: The strictness at VI was one of the best parts. There was barely any strictness, unless you get stuck with a sucky RA like I did, and they write you up for any noise you make past quiet hour.

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The off-campus housing selection isn't great. There are only two school supported off campus housing apartments. They also take away 30% of your scholarship if you live off campus.

3 College Senior

Campus Quality: There is a strand student activities presence. Clubs are not a very strong presence on campus. Sports are a large part of campus life.

3 College Senior

Campus Quality: The photography and equine programs are one of the best in the country. The facilities are get although the library is a bit outdated.

2 College Senior

Campus Food: They are not given a large budget so they make due with what they have. You can always find something to eat.

3 College Senior

Administration: Enforcement of rules are usually pretty relaxed but things never really get out of hand.

4 College Senior

Weather: We do not really get much extreme weather and when we do it affects the surrounding areas more than the campus.

4 College Senior

Technology: As a tech based major Ialwayshave access to computers with software I need and to printers.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: There are a few rough neighborhoods near campus but not much to worry about. There is a noticeable number of students who participate in drugs and excessive drinking. The campus security is present and is always willing to walk you around campus or help with noisy people on campus.

4 College Senior

Diversity: There is a wide variety of people from all different groups on campus and the campus body is very accepting.

3 College Senior

Local Area: It is a fantastic area if you like small town and the outdoors. There are a lot of local hiking areas that are stunningly beautiful. The locals are friendly. The music scene is great if you like old time, bluegrass, folk, or country. Bristol is the birthplace of country music.

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: The dorms are spacious. The several of the buildings are from the late 1800's so understandably there is occasionally repairs. It is a very small student body so it is a very social campus.

4 College Senior

Majors: Entry into the program is mostly academic based but scholarships are awarded based on portfolios.

5 College Senior

Majors: I love my program and think it is one of the best on campus. It includes a good mixture of film and digital classes and is very well rounded.

5 College Senior

Academics: The photography program is one of the best that I have seen or heard about. The workload is not unreasonable but you have to keep up with it. The curriculum and facilities are excellent. The teachers are very easy to access and are willing to spend time with students.

4 College Senior

Academics: Most of the teachers care about their students and are willing to help them. Workload is usually pretty low depending on the department. Registration is easy.

3 College Senior

Parking: Permit costs are not bad. Ticketing and fines are not always enforced. You do not need a car for campus. Parking can always be found but not always close to the dorms.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: It is close to campus. There are several available but it can be hard to get one. The cost is reasonable. Parking is good. Not in the greatest neighborhood but it is pretty safe.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: high price for a some what bad neighborhood.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: the dress is what would be expected of college.

2 College Sophomore

Administration: there is no alcohol allowed but its still there
