The way the online classes are set up makes it so easy to learn and access the online feature; I've never had any issues or interruptions in my class routines. The professors have all been extremely friendly, eager to help, and very encouraging which helps motivate me to work even harder toward my degree. Class styles and study groups are set up to fit everyone's schedule, if you work 9-5 you can still find a study group that afternoon/night and the study groups always have a professor leading them which helps keep us on topic and answers any questions we may have. Another thing VCO does that I really enjoy is our group discussions, they are set up that you can visit, talk and reply anytime throughout the week rather than a set time and the discussions are a great way to debate and brainstorm with my fellow classmates.

This has been a great journey attending Virginia College Birmingham because the professors encourages you to push yourself, bring the best out of you and help you learn things about you that you didn't even know existed in your mind of thinking. They staff here understands your life struggles, helps you with employment and they are very supportive of your careers in life.

Being an Accounting major at VCO is an interesting experience, the professors are very helpful and the workload is at the perfect amount; enough that you are learning but not too much that you can't work and have a family at the same time. I found the curriculum to be challenging and thought provoking, much more so than other colleges I have attended. Since I attend online my facility is located in Birmingham, AL and I live in South Carolina I have not seen the facility in person. Internships and Job opportunities are also something I have yet to experience there as a first year student.
