Party Scene: If you are in a fraternity or are a hot girl it is great. The downside is that there are no places on campus where parties/drinking happens. The only night time activity on campus is dorm drinking and watching movies in the cinema. Everyone else gets pledge rides to the fraternities off campus houses and party there. Some clubs and sports teams throw parties as well. Bar scene is pretty good.

Party Scene: There are parties every weekend but they are all off campus at fraternity houses. Pledges will pick up girls and brothers at their dorms and houses and drive them to and from the parties. No parties happen within walking distance of the school. The fraternity parties are very fun but if you are not in a fraternity or are not a hot girl then you probably won't be at many good parties.

Diversity: It is pretty easy to tell that most people that attend this university are white, upper middle class/upper class, and christian. The attitude isn't bad towards people who don't fit in however. From my experience, everyone has been very accepting. There is a pretty large block of students that come here from Puerto Rico.

Academics: I have enjoyed every professor that I have had so far. I have heard of some students being upset with their professors but every experience I have had with the engineering professors have been positive. The work is challenging but not too much. Study areas are very accessible.

Overall Experience: The quality of the courses are excellent. I get a great load of information out of my classes that are highly useful. So far, my professors have been very intriguing and have a passion for the subject they teach. Of course there are those professors who seem to hate life, and simply teach for the money, but then you find some who are very interested in their profession and have a desire to help students pass. The class sizes are usually great. Small classes are easier and help you connect with the students in the class, as well as with the professor.

Overall Experience: The alumni network is very strong. They can be seen all over campus, 24/7. A lot of people seem to come back and have a desire to help current students. Alumnis play a huge part in recruitment for jobs and internships. The career center is very helpful, and is always there.

Health & Safety: Honestly, I have no idea. Villanova does a great job at covering up a lot.

Campus Housing: The housing needs A LOT of improvement. There is not enough space for the amount of students that now go to the university. I also feel as though seniors should be able to live on campus. I think it is unusual that South Campus, where freshmans reside, has the largest rooms on campus in comparison to the rest of the housing for upperclassmen. It is a huge downgrade going from a decent size room, to a very small room on Main Campus.

Greek Life: There is a lot of (white) sorority and fraternity life on campus. On the other hand, multicultural greek life needs some improving. There is altogether only about 5 fraternities and sororities put together that are multicultural.

Athletics: Mostly everything revolves around sports. Mainly basketball, but that's not a surprise. That's life.

Overall Experience: So far, it's alright. There's a lot that can be improved throughout the school so I look forward to going back for my sophomore year and doing something about these things that can be improved.

Overall Experience: Quality of education is great. Teachers (in engineering at least) are either amazing or leave a lot to be desired. Thankfully, more of the former.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Everyone gets jobs. Internships, not necessarily.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: Public Safety is the butt of many jokes, but they do a good job keeping students safe and secure. The area is extremely wealthy and nothing really happens.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: Varies wildly from year to year. The junior apartments are absolutely amazing. Underclassmen housing is a crap shoot.

4 College Senior

Athletics: I'm not an athlete. But the amount of energy on campus when Villanova won it all was electric.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Love it. As an engineer, very challenging, but engaging. Have a lot of fun outside of class.

Greek Life: They are all the same condescending assholes.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: It's boring until March Madness

Overall Experience: Villanofun is in no way a good school to attend

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: As a Biology major, all my professors in science or math courses have been very knowledgeable and intelligent. There is a wide variety of classes, but they require taking the intro courses first (naturally). The science courses are very very challenging, but it is also very possible to do well or get A's, as the professors are very willing to help if needed.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Villanova thrives on it's community and alumni connections. The business school in particular has incredibly strong ties to it's alumni, and the business students tend to find jobs and internships very easily as a result. There are often recruiting events that take place in the business school, as well as two career fairs a year, open to all students. But the alumni ties are present in all the schools, and all are very willing to talk about their experience, or help you out somehow.

Health & Safety: I've never felt anything but safe and I routinely walk back from the library very late at night/early in the morning. No one I know has any type of issue with safety.

I've always liked the Health Center, though I know not everyone does. They've always treated me quickly and well, they give lots of free stuff (food, drinks, OTC painkillers, bandages, etc...), they have rooms with private bathrooms and TVs for you to stay in for free overnight if you are really sick or hurt for as long as you need (which I have used), and they can transfer you to a very close nearby hospital for anything serious very easily (as I have also needed to do). All very good.

Campus Housing: For me, it was great, even though I was in a forced triple freshman year. It wasn't very roomy, but it was kept very clean, and the laundry rooms, drinking fountains, hallways, and most importantly, bathrooms were always very clean. Some other dorms are more spacious, but less pristine.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: There are no Greek houses on campus, but there are hot spots off campus a short ways away. A lot of girls join Greek Life, but comparably fewer guys. Greeks and non Greeks very regularly intermingle.

Villanova is a school that grows on you—for some it takes only until the end of orientation, for others it takes two semesters or more. Whatever the case, students get caught up in what it means to be a Villanovan and to be from the 'Nova nation. Villanova provides students with an excellent education, well enough to confidently put alumni head-to-head with Ivy grads and be successful. Outside of its rich academic tradition, the students at Villanova come to know and appreciate their fellow students, professors, and surrounding community.

Going to Villanova gives students a unique perspective on college life. Even with a lack of diversity and a party scene that doesn’t start to pick up until you are a junior, Villanova is a fun place to be. Villanova will not give you the typical college life of a wild youth, but regardless, it is a school that is exciting and full of good times. While that might not be what you are looking for, the students who do attend Villanova end up loving the school for everything it offers, from its basketball games and rich traditions, to its Catholic heritage and the full load of academics. It’s a school that you can grow into comfortably, and looking back in later years, are glad to call your home away from home.
