4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Classes and teachers know what they are doing. Great experience

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: it's a fairly good school. Only thing lacking is affordable tuition and a big field

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I have had zero problems with scheduling classes around my life outside of Vaughn

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Teachers are truly there for their students.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Sure management isn't the biggest major at Vaughn, but it is still valued.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Vaughn over all is a great school. However, don't come here if you are looking for a party school. This school focusses on academics and less on parties. The school is small and hands on which is great if you learn from first hand experiences. Located near LaGuardia it is the perfect location for Aviation majors.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: professors couldn't care less especially the night class ones they just wanna go home

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: You should be able to pass every class just go on rate my professor since there's a one percent of professors who are hard and think their teaching at Harvard. If you can't find the professor on RMP, then just find out where he's teaching (it's a small college you'll find him) then go to his class wait outside for students to come out and ask them how he or she is. It's a really small college you'll see the same faces over and over again no one really wants to be friends everyone's a commuter and just wants to go home. grades at the end of the semester take so long to get out I feel like they do this on purpose so students can't transfer out if they want to. Students smoking in the main entrance of the school even though they put up signs there saying NO SMOKING. There was a small fire in the grass a couple months ago when a student threw his cigarette on it and will they have not implemented smoking rules just don't smoke on the property I want a clean environment to study in. if your planning on staying in the dorms DONT I've heard horror stories, go on backpage and find a roommate in the area. It's expensive like 15k a semester I think so thank god I have a scholarship. Don't buy a book before class starts sometimes you won't need it just wait a week and see if the professor uses it then if you need it get it from Amazon. Nothing to do around the college the nearest subway station is a couple blocks away I actually like walking to it instead of taking the bus there sometimes when I'm done with class and there's a lot of traffic back home on the roads to jersey I'll just take the subway to Manhattan. The school has a van that takes you to other buildings that I beleive the school owns where they take classes in so wish they would take people to the subway station it would be faster than the bus and walking. The degree audit (classes you have to take) is confusing it says one thing then the registrar and counselors say something else

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Vaughn College gives you a very welcoming feeling. All the staff and the students are approachable, respectful and helpful. Whenever you need help, anyone is willing to help you out. although it is a smaller school this is an advantage because it allows you to easily make friends and get around the school easier. I look forward to spending the rest of my 4 years of college in Vaughn College of Aeronautics & Technology.
