4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I took honors classes and it is way better, more personal, and focused.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: The career center helps out with anything I have questions about.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: My major is biomedical sciences. Although the program makes me take 71 credits for my A.A. instead of 60. It challenges me to do more and learn.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I had a rough start on my first terms, choose not so great professors, and didn't do so well. but i found out about ratemyprofessor, and now select awesome professors and am back on track. The advising staff are the best professional advisors.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I signed up for 4 classes and had over 100 options as to how I could take them for my first semester alone. Its a little overwhelming since it won't allow you to lock in the scheduling one class at a time and revolve around that, but it works out after you start to see a pattern.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Administrative issues pop up from time to time which is the biggest headache but aside from that everything goes well. But if you don't resolve those administrative issues you can't do anything at all.

To some, Valencia is an opportunity to grow academically, but to others it’s a place to relax and explore the academic world without any pressure from fellow classmates and professors. Valencia Community College is open to the overachievers and to the slackers. Most students remain at Valencia well beyond the two years required to complete the associate degree.

Valencia Community College is a small academic community that takes great pride in its students. It has well over 100 clubs and extracurricular activities. Many nationalities and ethnic groups are represented on campus. Furthermore, Valencia spares no expense; the school brings in speakers, philanthropists, and experts in various fields year-round to discuss various topics with students.

For those who are concerned about their environment, the school has great security on campus. Police are present, aware, and ready to help. Valencia will help you every step of the way, from enrollment to graduation and beyond. On any given day, you will hear of and see alums walking the many Valencia campuses, talking to current students about life beyond college. Valencia is truly a great place to start.
