Health & Safety

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Our campus is really safe and they have emergency buttons around campus that you can push if you are not feeling safe and a cop is there within minutes to escort or help the person. Our crime rate is really low. We live in one of the most safest cities that generally has no crime. I always feel safe everywhere I go.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I feel informed and aware, but never afraid on campus!

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel safe on campus all the time. I have the campus police phone number saved in my phone and that I can use the emergency call stations on campus anytime.

Health & Safety: The Student Health Center is lacking in availability and services. Being in Utah, there isn't much crime on campus, other than the college drinking. The campus is well lit at night and is patrolled often by police and campus security. I feel very safe on campus, but I'd be more scared if I was a woman. USU has lately gotten attention for its mishandling of sexual assault cases, particularly when it comes to athletics. There is an online course every student is required to take that deals with sexual assault, date rape, and the resources available to students regarding sexual assault, abuse, or relationship problems.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: If you ever feel unsafe or afraid on campus there are conveniently located towers with a big blue light on top, just find the nearest one push the button and campus police will be there shortly and will help escort you to your dorm or car or where ever you feel safe. Also there number is usually al over campus and these guys will help you with pretty much anything.
