Scholarships: Every time I think about financial aid at USU it gives me a headache. The process is very complicated and I do not do something right. I receive some financial aid but it is never enough.

Campus Food: I would not go out of my way to eat on campus but if I have to I can find something pretty good to eat.

Campus Housing: I never lived on campus but my sister did and she did not have many complaints but also would never live on campus again. It is cheaper to live off campus.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: I honestly don't know a lot about Greek life here. I know that Greeks love it! That's about it. They apparently throw really great parties.

Athletics: All hail the Utah Aggies! Our teams are phenomenal, our facilities are beautiful, and the student section is the place to be!

Off-Campus Housing: With some research, it can be pretty easy to find good housing! It all depends on what you're looking for - private, shared, married, single, ritzy, cheap... There's a great pamphlet that the university puts out every year to help!

Off-Campus Dining: Logan has amazing off-campus dining options. There is a fantastic variety of types of food, nothing is terribly expensive, there are a lot of unique local-to-Logan places, and there are student discounts aplenty! There's a great mix of popular chains (Paradise Cafe, Kneaders, Chic-fil-a, Costa Vida, Cafe Rio, Wendy's, etc.) and local places. Some of my favorites are Takara Sushi (50% discount on basically all rolls! So affordable and SO GOOD), the Crepery (crepes of all kinds! So delicious), and the Bluebird (which has an old-fashioned soda bar, Bear Lake raspberry jam, and house-made chocolates!).

Administration: I think the administration does a great job of keeping campus safe. One thing to note is that campus is a dry campus, so there is, in fact, no alcohol allowed on campus. This also means that if someone is found drunk on campus, there will be repercussions.

Party Scene: I don't party really, but the campus-sponsored parties and events are a lot of fun!

Campus Food: On-campus food is delicious. As a music student, I frequent the Artist's Block Cafe in the Fine Arts Center and can absolutely do nothing but rave about the food. It is, however, very expensive, which is hard as a financially unstable student. But I really love the convenience of it all.

Campus Housing: I lived on campus for my first three semesters at Utah State. It was, overall, a great experience! I chose the cheapest option and really felt like I got a lot for my money. There are a lot of fun activities funding through campus housing, and there are a lot of great, social people. Having lived off-campus since, I definitely miss the social aspect. I also really miss the ease of access to campus - I could wake up super late and still get to class on time, as it took me less than 5 minutes to get to most of my classes. There are a couple of different housing options, some with a necessary meal plan. I have heard good and bad things about the meal plans, though I have never had one myself. The nice thing is the convenience, I think, but they are fairly expensive and you do have to pay that money up front, I believe. I lived in an apartment-style suite with 5 other girls and I LOVED it. We made our own food in our kitchen and we really learned how to live independently of our parents. I highly recommend living on campus, especially for your first year here.

Party Scene: On campus it is a little bit harder to find a social life, but I heard once you move off campus that it is much better.

College Freshman

Scholarships: I hadn't applied for any financial aid.

College Freshman

Campus Food: Haven't had the chance to eat at any of the cafes or campus meal places yet.

Campus Housing: The building was not cleaned at by previous tenants before the moved out. It is nice that we have a kitchen but the set up of the apartments aren't great. However it has a great view and it was a good started apartment for school.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: Campus enforces policies very reasonably.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I live in off campus housing.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I just use the websites and I have found a place where I would like to live!

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Most college students can't afford to eat out. But when we do, anything is better than roman noodles!

3 College Freshman

Administration: The administration is strict on pointless things
