College Junior

Greek Life: We do not have sororities on our campus, as far as I'm aware.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The campus I go to does not offer housing, so it's ultimately up to the student to live where they do.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The campus I go to is smack dab in the middle of two towns so it is easy to find places to eat, however theyre typically bars or fast food restaurants nearby.

4 College Junior

Administration: The school seems to have it together for the most part. Students and teachers seem to follow protocol, and are well respectful.

College Junior

Party Scene: Again the location for my classes are not the same as an actual campus. There aren't college parties, nor other activities going on.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: My financial aid doesn't cover all of my schooling, so I just found out I have to pay over 2 grand within a month and a half. As a full time student, and a part time worker as a bartender and waitress I don't make that kind of money to be able to make the payment plan of $562 every other week that is asked of a student from a pre-determined payment plan. I've never had this issue before, and now I have to pay for part of my classes, which I can't afford.

College Junior

Campus Food: The location I'm at for Upper Iowa University does not have meal plans, or food available to students during the night. The campus is Blackhawk Technical College, and has a cafeteria open only during the day.

College Junior

Campus Housing: The Upper Iowa University location that I go to does not have any housing.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I had a lot of questions when I started I could get very few answers

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The best part so far has been I get to do it all from my computer

Local Area: I enjoy the small town-ness. There is a grocery store and gas station, plus transportation is provided to stores every sunday.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: People really don't care about the whole relationship stuff, what you wear to class isn't so important either, for social life most of us work, some have families and have school so social life isn't always a priority

Overall Experience: I'm really glad I decided to attend this school the staff is very hands on and if you need anything they are willing to help you out. Going to a night school is the best I can still work my normal shifts at work and get a degree at the same time.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: It's madison so their are lots of places you can choose from. I am not aware of any places that give you a discount since your a student. The prices do range but most place are very affordable and worth it.

3 College Senior

Administration: Attendance is very strict at the college I attend. If you miss so many classes the professor can kick drop you from the class. It doesn't bother me one bit, are classes are only 8 weeks long so if you miss a class you are missing alot of information so if you make it a habit it's only going to affect you.

2 College Senior

Campus Food: The school I attend does not have a lunch room available for us. The only thing we have are a few vending machines in the break room. Their is a microwave their so if u want real food you have to bring your own food or go out to eat since the options are slim

3 College Senior

Majors: Most internships that I've had have been unpaid and ranged from 25-30 hours a week. I had an internship for Watertown Family Center and Big Brothers Big Sisters. At these internships I worked with kids and their families, ran programs/workshops, mentored a boy, helped out with grants, did report writing, did basic office work, and a major part of my work was preparing for fundraising events.

5 College Senior

Majors: I had no problems at all getting into the program I am in now. I applied and within in a few days they had contacted me and helped me get started on my journey here. The staff has been very helpful and always their if i needed and kind of help or assistance.

College Senior

Athletics: At the campus I attend their are no sport teams. We do have a few clubs but that's about it. At my location we don't have the sports but the main campus in Iowa does have a sports teams

College Senior

Greek Life: I don't have any fraternities or sororities at the school I attend. Also not aware if we have any greek students attending this college.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: I commute to school and live and home so I don't have the need to have my own place near school. I am aware that there are plenty or apartments/housing near my school though.

5 College Senior

Health & Safety: I go to a smaller school and most people are usually in groups. When we go on breaks some people will go outside while others grab food from the break room. At night when we are leaving for class there is a security officer watching to make sure their is no danger. I normally walk in a group at night when class is over but feel safe walking by myself.

3 College Senior

Local Area: There's not much to do in Fayette, Iowa, but students at UIU make up for it by creating our own fun! We spend time at local restaurants, bars, and movie theatres. UIU also puts on many activities around campus!

4 College Senior

Campus Quality: We have many places on campus for different activities. We have an enormous student center, complete with a variety of games and activities. We also have beautiful landscaping and lots of outdoor space for activities.

4 College Senior

Campus Quality: We have the best advisors and professors who make an effort to get to know each student. Students are extremely welcoming and friendly.
