3 College Sophomore

Administration: There are a multitude of school policies that are expected to be enforced in the dorms but aren't that serious.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: Obviously, they don't promote drinking, but they know it exists, so they focus on encouraging students to make healthy and responsible decisions. The police are fairly lenient--as long as you aren't obnoxiously or dangerously intoxicated, they'll leave you alone. Residence halls are more strict, although it really depends on your House Fellow.

4 College Freshman

Administration: My house fellow was chill, which made for more responsible actions.

4 College Freshman

Campus Police tend to have a relaxed reign over the student population. As a result, there isn't a sense of strictness on campus. Bar and house parties are the most common places police will be interacting with students. Campus Police will come down on underage drinking and the use of fake IDs. Apart from that, though, students feel free and able to do what they choose.

As long as you use some amount of common sense or discretion, you really won't have any problems with Campus Police or strictness. However, those who decide to drink underage at a loud party will run the chance of getting busted and then fined. Similarly, if you're caught using a fake ID, consequences await you. In terms of academics, the campus is rigid. They follow the `zero tolerance' rule that only allows you one act of academic dishonesty. After being caught, you are expelled, and the offense stays on your academic record. Weigh every option and the potential consequences before deciding to do something potentially illegal.
