4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: In the classroom I feel as though I actually matter instead of being just a number in the classroom. Most of my professors have been fairly good professors and seem to know what they're talking about and are really passionate about what they are teaching.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The campus works hard to make sure to try to get students hired or recruited from the school after the student finishes their schooling

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus police are constantly out and on the opposite end of campus from the police station there is a police office in one of the residence halls. Campus also has blue lights all throughout campus so if someone is in a distressed situation they can hit the blue button and a police officer will be to them within 5 minutes.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The housing process was confusing at first but once it got going it was a lot easier. The halls are generally pretty clean, there are janitors there everyday cleaning except for the weekends. I enjoyed being in the residence halls because if you needed someone to talk to you could just walk down the hall. Everyone knew everyone on the floor and it was nice.

Greek Life: Most people who are non-Greek view the Greeks as people who pay for their friends and are stuck up snobs. I feel that Greek life is for some people but it definitely is not for everyone.

Athletics: For a D3 school the athletics are very good. They are supported by most of the student body and the entire community. The school tries to get everyone on campus involved with varsity sports and club or intramural sports.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The school has the feel of a D1 school with the athletics and the atmosphere. While in the classroom the feel is very small, the class sizes are generally smaller and there are fewer lectures as opposed to discussions in the classroom. I feel as though I am a student instead of just a number in the classroom.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Professors are very helpful and do very well to make sure students understand the curriculum.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Whitewater is highly regarded for getting graduates internships and jobs. There are career fairs that happen twice a year for business students and have up to 50 companies showing up for them.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There are blue lights on campus to press for people who are being chased or harassed by anyone. There is also a non-emergency number to have a police officer escort you to where you need to go if you don't feel like walking alone at any time.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Dorm life is great. People are all very friendly and accepting.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: There are many different sports opportunities on campus. If students are not into joining the fast pace sports, there are an abundance in intramural sports offered for students to take.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Instructors all have their own way of teaching their course and are all there to make sure you succeed. They give students every opportunity possible to be successful.

Academics: Absolute garbage. I now understand why no one knows of this school. Work your butt of and have nothing to show for it.

2 College Sophomore

Diversity: It's UW WHITEwater. I don't know what I expected. Maybe a little less slurs being thrown around like jokes I guess and 'joking pictures'

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: A lot of underage girls completely wasted and loud all the time

1 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Waste of time, effort and money. Only come for free

2 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Never even got to make use of it

Campus Housing: Dirty carpets and dust filled sometimes working heating units, duct tape on the screens is real cute. Showers are gross no one knows how to flush a toilet or keep their feminine products wrapped up and in the trash. The kitchen would be great if anyone knew how to clean up after themselves but they don't and now we have to check out gross pots and pans like it's pre-school. Oh, and now there's an ant problem because the students are disgusting and think someone else will clean up for them. Moldy whole chicken in the fridge and food spilled everywhere is great too. The elevators always have footprints all over the doors and garbage and spilled drinks in the corners. Not at all worth the cost.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: I've only heard good things about the football games

Overall Experience: My community college is more of a University than this trash. A complete waste of time. The Professors do not care and just want to rush and get the semester over with. The grading system is the worst you will never understand what your current grade is and grades are almost never in. Most of the people who graduate.. graduate by leaving and going to another school. I left the school I thought I hated and came here and this is so much worse i'm going back to the school I left and i'm not the only student going right back to the school they left either. The transfer process was a nightmare, they didn't let us pick classes until a week before school started so there was almost nothing left, forcing everyone during orientation to run to the labs to try and get some random classes before everyone else with the same idea. They even had to make exceptions to put some students in already closed classes later on. The dorms are old and dirty and the 'cleaning' they do is a joke. The garbage system leaves students dumping recycling in with normal trash because they make students go all the way outside to the dumpsters and the recycling lids are always closed and no one wants to lift them up so everything becomes garbage. The garbage bins are a joke, there are always squirrels in them eating trash because none of them have push lids. The dorm to class distance is ridiculous for a supposedly small school. You are either right by classes or all the way in the back away from campus. The girls in the dorms are an embarrassment, the bathrooms are truly shameful and I feel sorry for the man who always has to clean them.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel like, overall, our campus is very safe and that we have a lot of resources here that help it stay that way

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love my school so much. I love meeting new people, getting involved, and being a part of this community

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I feel like there is a strong value in getting a degree here. A lot of people that I've met intend to go to Graduate school to complete more education

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I really like the housing here and it feels very comfortable
