Off-Campus Dining: There are both local places and fast food places to keep everyone satisfied, at a variety of prices.

Off-Campus Dining: Most of the off campus food options are fast food and chain restaurants, so you don't get a ton of variety, but it's enough to change things up once in a while.

Off-Campus Dining: All there is in town(walking distance) is pizza places and coffee shops.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: It all depends on what you want out of your dining experiences. If you want healthy options, you might just want to go to Marketplace and make your food at home. If you just want awesome, greasy food then you're in the right place. There's pizza joints that deliver until late hours of the night which is great for those nights you get back from the bars and your starving. Our Burger King is also open 24/7 on the weekends so that's great. (It's a little out of the way though...) Away from campus are more sit down restaurants and fast food so that gets tricky if you don't have a car to get there. I personally am not aware of any student discounts anywhere unfortunately.

Off-Campus Dining: There are some really great restaurants that are family owned and you get a pretty good bang for your buck. The chain restaurants are the usual but they don't stay open 24 hours. I'm not aware of any student discounts but I don't eat off campus often. Menomonie Family Restaurant is a great place to get breakfast food at any point during the day and Dickey's BBQ is so delicious!

Menomonie has all of the food a college student craves—fast food, bar food, classy food, healthy food, and college food. Many establishments, including the local favorites, are within walking distance from campus. Some of the chains and fast food options are located in north Menomonie, a 5-to-10-minute drive uptown. The pricing is within a college student's budget. If Menomonie is missing anything, it would be a good ol' breakfast place within walking distance from campus, as well as a Thai food restaurant.

The six places not to miss would be Jeff's Pizza Shop, Zanzibar, Legacy Chocolates, Acoustic Café, and the Raw Deal. Consider this your checklist of food to eat before you leave Stout. You can get grocery items at a few places in Menomonie. Walmart is the cheapest, but with a limited selection. Marketplace Foods is the fanciest with the best quality.
